Thank you for your review and review write up!! Have you visited the St. Regis Maldives. If so, how would you compare it? I'm booked at both currently in a few months and feel torn. SR is further away, slightly higher cost, larger over the water villas vt 400 sq ft, better amenities for elites (e.g. free breakfast). The RC seems more modern, the outdoor shower is amazing, its closer to airport, and transfer is less expensive. Thoughts? Other considerations?
I am from Rio de Janeiro and I work with tourism so I know people from all over the world and they all say the same thing: "there is nowhere in the world like Rio", "Rio is different". you should make a visit I bet there must be a lot of people interested
Thank you for the video! I've been curious about the hotel since it's newly opened. I feel like this room would have been perfect if the swimming pool was larger :-(
My wife and I are booked into the ocean suite villa for November, and also have a W reservation. Any recommendations between the two and any tips we need to know if going ahead with the RC?
Hi Tushar! I haven't been to the W so can't help there. As far as RC, I've written a review for Conde Nast Traveler that will take you through my tips and observations: www.cntraveler.com/hotels/fari-islands/ritz-carlton-maldives-fari-islands
Wow, this is beautiful! My wife and I just decided on the Maldives instead of Bora Bora next summer. It's going to be a toss up between the Ritz Carlton and the InterContinental, but RC us always the front runner.
Oh shit! That looked amazing. Definitely interested!
Wow love the design. Absolutely gorgeous. 🌊🌊😎
Thank you for the three video review. My wife and I are going to the RC Maldives in January, so we appreciate the property information.
Glad it was helpful!
how do they manage the sewage. and where they get water and electricity to these rooms.
Absolutely beautiful. Definitely on my short list to stay here.
I think you'll love it :)
in the middle of the sea how they do the sewage. water and electricity. can anyone answer my question.
Sir I have booked the same room for my boyfriend and I to enjoy this coming May!
Thanks…this was incredibly helpful. So torn between the RC and St. Regis! Looks like I can’t go wrong!
St. Regis is a lot better. This one looks meh. Kind of bland and boring.
@@cjack202003 I agree with you, even if both resorts have a modern design, the st regis one is better.

I Would Like To Try Both Have You Been There Yet? And Would You Share Your Take With Me Please?

Gosh it’s sooooo beautiful
it is!
How's the coral reef there?
it's nice but there are better places, like resorts in the Baa Atoll

Can other people see you actually if u were in the pool?? I mean from their villas??
great question -- it depends on the specific villa you're in, but for the most part I don't think so
I don't think I'd ever leave my room :) especially if I can see the planes land from my room ;). My only thing is bugs and it being so open?
Haha fair point! There weren’t *too* many flying insects around but definitely something to be cognisant about
This looks great! It looks like they have a 1-BR Ocean Pool Villa and a 1-BR Lagoon Pool Villa. Which one is this?
Thanks! This is the Lagoon Pool Villa, as you get semi-beach access from the entrance but still have the overwater experience once inside
Mister Levius, i love you.
Is its nightly rate around US$2500?
I believe it starts at $1500, but that is likely for low/rainy season
👏👏👏

I think you made a great choice!
1400 dollars per night
