So good to see this on good ole UA-cam! I remember buying a compilation album around the turn of the century (can't remember what it was) and this song was on there. I honestly played the crap out of this song...more than any of the other songs on the album! Such a beautiful, soulful slice of laidback summer r&b/pop. Would have loved to have heard the rest of the album.
I love this song. Was lucky enough to get a promo of the single. It had a song on there called 'My Heart Wants To Be Where You Are' which is really beautiful' Love the video. Really hate that her solo career never took off, and we didn't get her album.
No she already had lupus (and was suffering through the Higher than Heaven video shoot but performing as a pro you'd never know), it just wasn't diagnosed 'til then.
I thought this was a bad follow up single to Higher in Heaven, which was much more catchy (even though it is sort of a rip off of that song from Ghostbusters).
