Another thing they have added is the Roc transport now has a landing and take-off ability, and not just a scenamatic animation, so once we have a way to get custom models into the game (it’s being worked on) having flying units that can be either flying or ground units should be possible.
I keep hearing more chatter about the editor and we're in such early days. I'm thinking that Retold's editor might be the best Age editor we've ever seen. That would have such great implications for custom games, custom modes, custom campaigns, etc

Theia's lance of stone gives your Contari a slow ability. Hekate has a new tech for Lampades, Asper blood the lampades can normally do Chaos but it seems they have a new ability to turn enemy units into chickens. That way you won't need farms anymore. You can just harvest your enemies. This really feels like Warcraft 3 Undead lol. Gaia's Channel tech is nerfed, it only gives more speed on lush ground.
Yeah major improvement over Athenian wall which it replaced- If you're going defensive you want Hephastus, not Hera, plus such an upgrade comes a little too late.

It is arguably a nerf. It used to make elephants have 1s training time, so you only needed only midgol to go up to be able to flood the map with elephants. Now you just get two, but they still train very slow. Bit eco friendly but eggy eco lategame is bonkers anyway
Hephaestus gives an upgrade for +20% damage for Unique Units but also now gives them a x2 damage modifier vs. Myth Units, works great on Gastraphetoros. I bet it would really amp up Myrmidon/Hetairos quite a bit as well, can shore up your weakness to Myth units if your heroes are getting sniped a lot.
i'm not sure it works for the titan my guy. as far as i know, the only *myth unit healing* research that actually work on titans, is the Hecate's one (atlanteans).
i quite like Argive Patronage from Zeus's Exclusive goddess Hera. it spawns a myrmidon for free every 45 seconds at a fort . you break even after only just 5 myrmidons and you could in theory build more forts as it effects every fort. in one of the campaign missions i ended up just building 10 forts to get 10 myrmidons for free every 45 seconds
when a pharoah empowers the monument which in turn empowers the buildings in a particular radius, does valley of the kings work for all the barracks and strongholds in that radius?
That is a benefit that only applies to monuments of Ra. Ra doesn't have access to Valley of the Kings, but even if he had access it wouldn't work. The secondary empowered buildings count as priest empowered (60% efficiency, don't trigger additional monuments to empower buildings in range)
Ulfsarks get real close to some cav HP with the right build path. Really love these updates but also got a concern. I can't seem to stabily play with a friend, 80% of the time we get sync errors. Does anyone has a solution for that? It's a shame they still didnt fix the multiplayer and also didnt fix the AI on Water maps
