I love your haul ! Last week I went to a thrift store that had a ton of stamp books and big binders they were pretty full of stamps some were already glued on the papers and some in envelopes ...They wanted $10 per book the man said he’s had them for a year and that they don’t sell ..I’m going back once this bad weather goes away ..

The envelopes are First Day Issues, which may be valuable to stamp collectors if there are any still out there! They were issued on the first day that the stamp was released. Check stamp collecting sites or ebay maybe (?) for value. You probably have some very pretty ones there that would be nice in a junk journal. Nice find!

Thanks! I looked up a few of the envelopes/stamps online and they aren't worth much, which is great because now I don't have to worry about using them in journals. I love the glassine envelopes that came with some of them and the stamped envelopes do have some pretty pictures.
