I am so glad I found your channel. I have a long list of things wrong with my body that technically I shouldn’t be able to walk. I practice yin yoga every morning with you. And because of you and your videos I can not only function, some days I am pain free. I like your style of teaching. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to practice yin yoga in the comfort of my own home. You truly are a blessing 🙏🏼
Hi Kassandra! Thank You so much for reup this class! It popped up right at the time I was ready for my yoga time. I felt so much better with my knees as I had bad arthritis in back of my both knees. I got hard time to straight or stand up after my knees got folded by yoga or praying. I really appreciate you. I hope you have a great holidays! ❤️
This is one of my favourite videos of yours because there is no music. I love all your yin and recommend you almost everyday. My only issue is the music. This way I can play my own or enjoy silence. ❤
Thank you so much for your classes Kassandra. I have been healing from breast cancer and other health ailments and your yin classes have been an instrumental part if my healing journey. I am very grateful for you and your style of teaching.
There is NO MUSIC in this practice! 🎵 I've been getting a lot of requests for videos without music so that you can use your own playlists. I know some of you hate it and some of you love it, I can't please everyone with every video but I wish I could. 😘 The majority of my videos have music but I wanted to give some options for those of you who prefer silence 😊
Thank you so much for this NO MUSIC video. In many cases music does not add anything to a yoga or meditation video and just distracts the attention of the essence of the video. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for this practice Kassandra. I am wonderfully relaxed and calm afterwards. I loved the half dragonfly variation. I appreciate the way you hold space with long silences and no music. Thank you for your generosity. Namaste, Melissa
Great hamstring Yoga practice! Kassandra is the BEST and I totally enjoy all her Yin Yoga videos. In these pandemic times, Yoga is helping to keep me focused and Sane! Thank you so much, Kassandra!!
Hey Kass! Thanks for the video! Great work! I was wondering, how do you handle body itches while doing Yin Yoga? Like sometimes, I just really have to scratch my leg and I find it disturbs the moment...
I have been doing your Yin videos for a few months now. I really enjoyed this one. I didn't notice the lack of music. I often tune it out. I am a musician. Go figure. Thanks for all you put into your videos! -ET
Hi Kassandra, thanks so much for this video! I started yoga since I found your youtube channel, I do many of your classes and it is very rewarding. I tried this exercise, but it was still at times hard for the mega-short hamstring-me apparently :) - especially (and frustratingly) they hinder in the most basic poses - as sitting up straight on your sitting bones, because already hips drop/pulled backwards.. not even talking about then bending forward.. or having to sit with legs apart. Would you maybe like to consider a fe 5 minute stretch in particular for stretching short hamstrings that can be done every morning? It would help so much with getting more benefit out of all the other yoga basics and grow further.
I took this class yesterday evening, felt good although I have lately tired a bit of yin, it's so slow, I get bored 🤔 Anyway I am really tight in my hamstrings and backside so it did feel good. This morning I biked 11 km to work as I do a couple of times a week, and my but hurt and my legs tired, much more than usual. Is that because of the yin yesterday evening?
I have a question. I'm 6 feet 1 and my legs are very long. I have tight hamstrings and can't even sit down with my legs straight in front of me without curving my back. So, that pose where you sit down and fold forward is impossible for me. How can I progress towards that?
Wow you are amazing ...it's my first session with you ..and you jus make me suprise that with easy poses you opens my hams ... greatful for you thanks for sharing 😇

Do you have any videos on stretching your back and spine? While bending over to do the straight leg stretch, I realized I'm VERY tight. It was very intense just to barely bend forward. I could only hold it a couple seconds before I wanted to break out of it. Should I power through it? Is that the point? Because it's not a pleasant feeling and brings up a lot of emotion haha. Is this stretch good enough to work on it?
I know this video is old compared to some, but here's hoping you can see it (or at least someone can offer advice): When it comes to forward folds, I really struggle to get forward - especially in the straddle. I can get the legs apart just fine, but folding forward just won't work! How do I fix that?
Any tips for those with very tight hamstrings. I have to keep my knees slightly bent in order to even get my back straight in caterpillar pose.trying to lean even a little bit forward causes unbearable strain on the hamstrings.
Oh my god thank you so much !!! I have totally short and tight hamstrings that hurt and hinder a lot of my workout!! I will try this today! And may i ask? Since im quite new to yoga. I have lordosis and minor kyphosis so i have regular back pain and cannot do certain moves because of it. Is there a way to either strengthen my muscles to support my lordosis and kyphosis better ? Or maybe some moves to stretch my back muscles properly so it doesn’t hurt as much? The pain is in between my shoulder blades and the muscles there are so stiff that i cant find proper moves to stretch the in between part. Moving my neck too down really agitates it. And my lower back arches off the floor when im lying flat on my back because of lordosis and has unnecessary pressure on my lower back muscles. Is there proper moves to help with those? Im asking you because i really like your videos and your none judgemental and peaceful teaching techniques put me on ease. Thank you so much! x
Thank you for your question. I found the answer at Bob and Brad The two most famous physical therapyst on the internet. I just remember the part where they recommend sleeping on your back with enough pillows and then slowly 11 weeks take a pillow out . They have other advise but it is complicated to write them . Lol
My hamstrings are so tight, I couldn’t even get my elbow on a block during the half butterfly and had to use my other arm as support. Oof. The full straddle is also impossible for me. Great class though!!!

Awesome yin class for the hamstrings. Not only simple and effective, but also super relaxing. Highly recommended! Thank you for sharing!
My hammies are feeling much better now thank you.
Pro Tip: add some easy background music, and record audio cues after filming.

Thank you so much for this flow. I have tight hips and hamstrings so a yin flow concentrating on hamstrings is wonderful🌿
