As someone who has played raid going on 6 years now i can tell you it is p2w and not f2p friendly, you can 100% play as f2p but will spend most of the time waiting for energy to recharge to do stuff in game and it is most definitely a grind, a grind locked behind a timer waiting for energy to recharge unless you are p2w

Well, as you found out the hard way like I did, the rune shop ramps up its price per item by 1%. Almost every other shop in the game goes up by 0.1%. Glad to see you finally grinding Naguas though. They are so insane for training, especially with dual wielded weapons. Just wish Jagex actually implemented the change to make them Spectral Creatures like they said they were in the blog. I dont care if Salve doesnt work, but Ectoplasmator not working on them is such a scam

I don't think there is anything in varrock that would be of use, asside from maybe early game rune shop
