There are other DAAD scholarships as shown in the video. Helmut Schmidt is for public policy and good governance.

just write any research topic you would be interested in. so like a thesis topic.
Project proposal is meant for people going for a phd program or masters of research (MRes) program under DAAD. It is not compulsory for MSc or MA applicants under DAAD leadership for Africa.

@KittyShorts yes. It isn't compulsory but she has to write something in that section otherwise when she goes to upload it, the DAAD portal will tell her she didn't fill out that required section.
