The "slow" Japanese bikes are quicker than the vast majority of vehicles on the roadways. How many people's bike purchase decision has their friends nagging in the back of their mind, basically buying X model bike to please other people? I'd wager a very high percentage do.
🤣 Because it gives me ideas and some feedback on bikes. I long ago realized that I'll never please everybody with the bike I get. There will always be haters for any bike
MT 07, probably the most popular naked twin cylinder in the world, and KTM 690, the god tier of off the shelf sumos. Am not feeling like these are risky under dog picks g. Think some people are just having fun making suggestions and would even if you had bought the bike they are suggesting.
Fastest bikes I have had; B-King, Busa, ZX14 all of them red line in first gear about 70+ MPH and you have 5 more close ratio gears. You can not gear them lower because they will all wheelie or just spin the tire even with an extended swing arm. Those bikes are cool but USELESS. I have had over 75 bikes the ones that have been the most fun are Maxi-Scooters, they are super fast off the line and I also really like a Versys 650. I had all the fast bikes of the 80's also, two V-max's and a Suzuki GS1150ES. Try a Burgman 650 you will LYAO...
I ride a high powered stand up electric scooter and it gets the thrills on the cheap, and it's much safer because you generally avoid traffic. 0-40 it's as fast as a lot of bikes, and you can ride it respectfully on sidewalks and trails and no one bats an eye, in fact they usually love it lol. Of course it's not considered COOL like a bike but I highly recommend anyone who enjoys riding things on two wheels to try one.
Eventually you gotta buy what YOU like and cancel out the "buddies" voices in the back of your mind when you show up with the new ride and they laugh and sneer, trying to ruin your new bike smell with their 200 horsepower thigh-roasting superbikes. I'd say a high number of bike powerful bike riders lack skills necessary to tap out a 650, much less their eyeball flattening bikes.
I agree on the speed. I own an MT10 SP and most of the time I'm just cruising on that bike a few miles over the limit. I have even considered downgrading to an MT09. I need to keep my CDL A clean and cannot goof around too much on the bike.
@@CycleCruza Yes, torque is the fun parameter you can enjoy without getting booked by the police. Speed is, not only more dangerous to life, but requires open roads, motorways, without intersections, or idiot cagers performing crazy, inconsiderate, road manoeuvres. Speed once reached is monotonous. I have been thinking of changing my 1200gs for an MT09, but even that is on the speedy side, on normal roads. I had a drz400sm which was great for manouvering traffic but lacking power. I had a versus 650 which was ideal, but on the heavy side. So what better than a 690 SM, or Ducati mono SM that combine the power of the Versys, and, almost, light weight manouverability of the DRZ. With a Supermoto, you can beat the traffic, do jumps, and other fun stuff, even some off road.
Brother you nailed it, "Riding a slow bike fast..." I've started on a 1300cc HD Softail Slim, then a HD Street Glide special, then a Ducati Street Fighter V4, then a KTM Super Duke GT, a good friend of mine who tracked liter bikes got the same KTM SMR and went through bike like crazy, this is the first bike he has owned over a year and absolutely loves it. Pulls up with a smile on his face everytime and when asked if he misses the speed he says no. He got his wrapped in a sick holographic Grand Theft Auto wrap and has it modded out. He said the bike scratches his itch to mod as its endless and if he doesnt get rid of it, then i think it would be worth the mods. I'm holding out for the next iteration and hoping for a new full color TFT, maybe a standard LED headlight.
K5 1000 rider here and agree with you...though the k5 honestly feels like a super smooth big twin...the torque is immediate from idle so it's fun at slower speeds. I'm fortunate enough to also own an immaculate XR650R SM which is amazing to rip around on. Never selling either...I hope.
Well said. Smaller bikes are fun and quick in the corners. Speaking of corners…we gotta get you some corners and curvy roads. Upstate NY (Saratoga Springs area) filled with tons of them. Moto van trip? Let’s do it.
New to your channel. Great stuff. Subscribed to it. Brother Man you are speaking truth. 100% agree with you…. at 64 I’ve had all the bikes. I now ride a KTM 890 adventure, and I’ll be throwing down on that bike on the street and dirt… Still rocking and rolling after all these years. Anyways, be safe out there, brother Man, and enjoy the life that you’ve been handed, and never let anybody dictate what you ride. Peace out.
You ain't lying about the lower power bikes being the most fun! I've had them all, all the way up to a Hayabusa. The most fun I've ever had on a bike had about 35hp.
That is a very popular bike and everybody seems to love it. I never got one because so many people had one but I said the same thing about the MT-07 and here I am loving it.
You absolutely right. Since I got off the sport bike scene and into the ADV bike life, I have never had so much fun. Hey I see you still haven't got used to the quick shifter yet😄.
Love your choice, it does rip. You bring up a great point. Out of my 3, Honda Silver Wing, flashed V Star 1300, and Star Raider, the Silver Wing gets the biggest grin. It's nimble, have gotten it to 105, and love the twist and go cvt, straightforward to maintain myself. I get the most comlliments on the metallic red chopper though. You're spot on with the secobd point, it's about the torque from light to light racing yourself.
The YZ hits very different, a violent raw bottom end torque rich crazy holigan bike and featherweight . No matter what i do to the KTM its not going to hit like my YZ.
@@CycleCruza I have both bikes, and I agree with you. The plated YZ is ridiculously fun (mine is a dual sport). As fast or faster than the 690 and minus 100 lbs. It's brings out the teenager in me!! The 690 is a more comfortable, long-range, tame version of the YZ. Like you, I've given up on big HP sport bikes. They get boring.
Love that bike! I am a big fan of KTM since I raced them in the 70's! Have an RC390 now and the 690 looks like the next in line! The Mods you've done so far ,look great!
I will say that riding my 1290 SAS at street speeds is still much more fun than I had on my previous 2 bikes, but the 1290 engine is also super torquey in addition to being fast, so...lol. Also doesn't burn me up easily. The side vents on the gen 3 model for the hot air work so wonderfully. I have to be in stop and go 10km/hr traffic to even start feeling warm on bike. KTM did a supurb job with cooling and the venting on this model.
I’ve had my 690 for 5+ years and it been a great bike for me. I don’t think that it could be my only bike but it’s earned its spot in my garage. Off-road and on its great fun. I’m old (mid fifties) and I still have my first Harley. 1995 fxstsb springer softail. I still have my 2004 GSXR 750 too although I have added a handlebar kit to make it more comfortable for me. They are both fun in their own way but I have to admit that the 690 is the most fun for me. Light weight compared to the other two and plenty of power as well as a great suspension. What’s not to like?
I’ve owned 20+ bikes (Harleys, Busas, Ninja ZX-14r, BMWs, all the Japanese brands) and this is possibly my favorite. Stayed away from KTM for so long cause I was worried about reliability. So happy with this bike. You can rip it like crazy and have a blast while staying within legal speeds. I like it for up to 55 to 65 mph. Highway handling above that is a bit sketchy. Got a Husky FE501s for off reading. Cycle Cruza is the man. I bought the 690 SMC R because of this channel.
only thing I can say is, I can’t wait to see you clutch up a wheelie! Cheers 🍻 brotha anyone can wheelie a yz but I gotta see that Ktm and that mt07 up on one wheel
XR650R keeper for life,sm tires mostly...only bike, and only thing close to 690 or 701(torque,speed)..50y..:)...first time to comment but I watched you long time ago...CBR time..:)..safe ride, man✌
Dont listen to the complainers, Ive seen coutless comments in your comment sections over the years, suggesting you get a 701 or 690, including myself. Ive loved watching you ride this little beast and what mods you are doing to it. It's a great bike to teach all your watchers more tips and tricks with riding too. Commit to the 690 and shell commit to you. Sick bike
hi CycleCruza :). what kind of mirrors are you using on this video ? these that I'm seeing you mounted on the 690 smcr are not the same as the set you shared in the link on the description. could you please share the link to these ones as well ?
CC, im really glad you got the 690, ive been stuck on pulling the trigger on a 690 or mt07, but i think you answered my questions in this video, thanks bro!!! although i may still need both😂
Cruza, your right, sometimes I just want to go for a quick ride around my neighborhood, I have a 21 rsv4 , but it’s a bit much for the neighborhood I’m waiting for the new suzuki 2025 DR-Z4SM
Mate you are 100 percent right!!!!! i'm nearly 48 and always had super sports. Im done. The sore wrist, the back ache, the hips that tell me i should give up.. totally agree with you. People will learn eventually just like have.
What about a CFmoto bike? They have KTM parts and I think made the engine as well. The nk800 looks pretty cool, but im thinking reliability wise not the best. Would like your opinions.
The thing is everyone has the own riding style mine has always been supermoto from the age of 16 I’m from the uk and eat sports bikes round bends on my 690 it’s all to do with what your happy and good on and enjoy ! Also what you said about sports bikes it’s so true they should be kept on track not the roads
I’m a KTM guy and like the 690 SMC but it’s not my first choice. First I think that for that price, TFT display and LED headlight would be standard. I’m loving my 390 Duke and eventually I’ll be getting a 790/890/990 Duke. If I were to get something other than a KTM, it would definitely be a Yamaha MT. I don’t pull wheelies or go off road at all so a SUMO doesn’t really do it for me.
Take pride in the fact that you are one of the few doing sumo content. I have had all kinds of fast bikes, slow bikes, scooters, etc, more than 20 bikes. I recently bought a KLX300sm and it's one of the most fun bikes I've ever owned. I'm over 50 and I'm not doing the Harley thing. I bought a brand new busa this spring for long rides. I think you would dislike the Harley. I had a Victory Highball and while I liked the bike it's just weird to ride. It's kind of fun to be in "the club" but it's not for me. If I get too old for something like a Hayabusa I'll buy a Goldwing. I'm interested to see your performance mods on this bike. I think a cool video would be showing what a long all day ride would be like on the sumo. Is it comfortable? Does it suck? The reason I didn't buy a Husky 701 sumo and got the busa instead is because I didn't think it would be good for long rides
I wasn't a huge fan of the KTM 690 SMC R at first, but it was more bout KTM having their performance packages thing they do, paying to unlock stuff already on the bike. Then I test rode it when I got the Hypermotard Mono RVE and damn the KTM 690 is a freaking incredible supermoto. Honestly I'm surprised my dealership didn't force me to buy it cuz I was doing all the wheelies on that test ride. Honestly think you can't go wrong with getting it. Though waiting for next year's update be smart IMO.
I’m a 53 yr old woman and I ride a 1996 Yamaha xt225. A bit on the slow side, but I only ride on the back roads anyways. I would love to ride the mt but can’t see spending the money. So I have been thinking about the ktm390. Probably more my speed.
It’s all preference. I started riding at 5 years old. I raced outdoor National Mx and now I love superbikes. I’m gonna rage till I’m dead or it kills me
I'm torn between one of those or an Indian FTR for my next bike. I'm coming from a Yamaha XT250 so either one is going to feel fast as hell comparatively
I feel like you'll get a better bang for your buck with the KTM 690 SMC R (or the Husky or GasGas) because you can cruise on it comfortably (plenty of seat room, leg room, upright riding position, etc), you can ride off-road (with ADV tires), ride it at the track, be. astreet hooligan on it and even make it a lightweight ADV touring bike. So you have an all-in-one bike, swiss army knife of a bike with the 690. With the FTR you are basically just limited to the street, however, it is a cool bike too. You just get better value and use with the KTM 690 SMC R.
I bought a 82 cb 650 as a project. Got it running and looking like new. After a couple of rides I sold it. It was just to fast for me, I'd be in trouble or dead.
Haters are gonna hate. You work for your money, you buy what is best for you. Whenever someone asks why I’m still on my 2007 Triumph Bonneville, I tell them it’s reliable, oil tight, easy to work on, cheap to insure and paid off. I’d love a HD XL1200 Sportster. But it costs too much and where would I ride it?
It’s all preference. I started riding at 5 years old. I raced outdoor National Mx and now I love superbikes. I’m gonna rage till I’m dead or it kills me. I’m in my early 40s
Cruza.. How does that KTM 690 (330 lbs?) make 71 Ft. Lbs of torque when my XSR9 (420 Lbs) only makes 68 ft. Lbs? Torque is instant.. I'm converting a Chinese 250 KPX250 to super moto. 17" spoke Rims on stock hubs, drop it down, will diddle the forks (Spacer/Oil/Raised). Stock forks allow almost 3" thru the triple clamp, plus a drop link 120 front/ 160 rear ZR sport bike tires. Sooo Maneuverable compared to the 21/18 takes a while to lean it over stock. You're right, this chinese 250 disposable bike is really fun. No worries at ALL if it get's dropped, and if it falls on me, I'll walk away.. Absolute best way to get really good at motorcycle maneuvers, and get real confidence.
My RC390 is so fast UNDER 100mph that I don't care what the other side looks like! Used to dog my Yoshimura GSX-R 750 around town, did 147mph ONCE! Now I do 90 all day long. I am 73yo, my Harley Nightster burned down so I replaced it w/ a 350 lb. Racer!
Well cycle cruza don't worry about pleasing the haters. Get what pleases you and you alone.like I've said before I'm not really into super moto.. but I am looking for some used super moto wheels for my wr250r so I can try it out. And if I don't like it then I can always put the dirt wheels back on
I understand aboot the Super liter bikes where you're hunched over every time you ride, but I need a liter bike like the MT10, or the CB1000R not for just the speed, but to scoot a little better on the road cuz I'm a big 380Ib guy. I need the powa to carry me. The little 300, 500, or 650 is already sluggishness from my weight. So if I have a chance, I want MO POWA! Plus, I like the slimness of naked sports bikes. People always tell me to get a Harley cruiser. I don't like that cuz it's too bulky. Meow if the Vrod was still being made. I would jump on that nice-looking motorsickle. Alas, I got the option of two that I set my eyes on, which are the Honda and Yamaha. Meow your bike. I only like the MT07, all the rest I wouldn't spend money on. You like it, then that's you and just enjoy. That aside. Yesterday I had so much fum on my cb500f. I know I know that I said it's a little sluggish when I'm on it, but it has to be fine right meow cuz that's all I have till I can get the bike I want. I only have to worry aboot going up hill that's it. Well, I went everywhere on my bike. I ran errands, and I went to pick up food for my family from four different restaurants( it may sounds inconsiderateof them to choose for different stores. I didn't mind. Little things like that bring joy to my heart to hop on my bike and ride. One thing is for sure. The day exhausted me out since I live in the south and the sun was pounding on me. Plus I helped my son change his break pads on his suv. So today I had to cancel my Florida ride, which is an hour and some change and the traffic is going to be bad on I10 going the since it's a holiday. I'm still going to ride today, just around my neighborhood. I love riding my motorsickle.
650-800 twins are the happy zone. People get bored too quickly on smaller engine bikes. Why? Dopamine high from cracking the throttle on a superbike and feeling the thrust. Honestly? The limitations on a 650-800cc twin are so high, it would take another Valentino Rossi to tap them out. Then, you install new cartridges and a shock, a fresh set of sticky rubber, and a set of sintered HH pads, and suddenly you have a lot more capability to use. People also say how fun it is to rail tight twisty roads on a 400 twin, or a track, zipping around the big 200 horsepower superbikes struggling to make the curve. I find it far more entertaining to take a bike to the limit which wasn't designed primarily for that purpose. It's natural for a Lamborgini to be ripping high speed and power sliding, it's natural for a Yamaha R1M or M1000RR to be spitting fire and cracking off laps at a circuit. But to take something like a common low cost 400 or 650 or 800 twin and throw some money at it to make the suspension and brakes work better, get a tune, maybe change the bars or pegs, and absolutely go nuts on that thing, it's impressive indeed. People get bored with smaller bikes? They should learn to stunt. They should figure out how to do gymkhana. They should get their knee down, back it in to a corner, learn to wheelie. They should find out how to drift a motorcycle. None of these cool advanced skills require a superbike, in fact, those powerful bikes significantly slow down your ability to learn and adapt because they don't communicate the limits until you're about to die. The "friends" and "peers" brag and show off their carbon fiber and titanium and 210 horsepower, while the bank funds their endeavors, but all they're doing is making sure when the accident happens, it happens 5x worse; all they're doing is inhibiting their ability to learn advanced skills faster; all they're doing is forking over big bucks for something that's a thief-magnet because they cared so much about what their buddies would think at the bikes-n-coffee. You cannot buy talent, skills, wisdom. More horsepower is easy. In fact its about the most easy thing you can possibly do on a motorcycle. What's to brag about?
I knew you would love the ktm supermoto and so glad you got one to finally experience the hype. A real supermoto ktm is way to much maintenance. I know I have one and would tell everyone to just get a 700 and not do the conversion.
YZ wins but we'll see, I'm doing all of the performance mods on the KTM. I have a full Leo Vince exhaust and a bunch of Rottweiler stuff coming. However, the YZ will always be lighter weight and more wicked.
@@CycleCruza Yes men for me is the beauty of Honda, all in black. My dreambike since Honda put that one in the market. I am from Argentina I have an Honda XR 250 totally a Honda fan. Don't worry about the haters they are going to make your channel grow 🤣
I seriously considering buying this bike when i sold my 2005 R1 after having become bored to death with it. Then I test rode it, and I was super disappointed. The torque that everyone seems to get crazy over when talking about that bike felt inexistant, even in the low and mid range I felt less pull than on the R1, and for a bike so light it really is shameful imo. And the lightness made it pretty agile for sure but the chassis and suspension suck hard and the twisties were no fun because of this. So ultimately I ended up getting a 2023 MT10 SP, basically an updated version of my old R1 with more character, no fairing, way better handling and usable 2nd to 6th gear. But yeah I really don't get the hype over the 690, and the10k mark for it felt steep before I tested it, but now that I actually now what it's (not) capable of, it just seems like a rip-off.
anyone who says super motos or dual sports are tall cant complain. I'm 5'1" way shorter than the average and I ride a Husqvarna 701sm its fine its not an issue. dirt bikes are taller for a reason its nothing to worry about. I hear 6' tall people saying they need to lower em and stuff and its just like cmon guys get on the bike and rip it stop complaining cuz theres short people that can ride the crap outta tall bike with no issues, its actually harder for us and we make do.
I bought a 690 sm too it's so fun, but I started on a 390 Duke, and I'm glad I did. The 690 is fast, and I nearly dropped it on the first day. I wouldn't start on that. The 390 is much more forgiving, and you can literally rip the throttle and not worry too much about yeeting yourself onto oblivion. 😂
Who gives a flying F what others think about what bike you get? Always remember haters gon hate, and riding is all about the love! Ride what you love, love what you ride, and damn the torpedoes!
I have made suggestions, but am still satisfied with your choices when they are far removed from what I suggested. You've opened my eyes to many different categories of motorcycle that I would have otherwise ignored. You are a motorcycle connoisseur @CycleCruza.

Golden nugget of this video - "Riding a slow bike fast is more fun than riding fast bike slow"
Cannot agree more!
The "slow" Japanese bikes are quicker than the vast majority of vehicles on the roadways.
How many people's bike purchase decision has their friends nagging in the back of their mind, basically buying X model bike to please other people? I'd wager a very high percentage do.
It really is true.
It's still a fast bike because of power to weight ratio.
“I don’t care what bike you all want me to get”. Previous 5 videos, “What bike should I get next?” 😂😂😂😂
Haha epic
Leave a comment, and tell me..... hahaha

@@FatYokelright on! "Cool" is overrated anyway
Verseys 650 🤦🏻♂️
Eventually you gotta buy what YOU like and cancel out the "buddies" voices in the back of your mind when you show up with the new ride and they laugh and sneer, trying to ruin your new bike smell with their 200 horsepower thigh-roasting superbikes. I'd say a high number of bike powerful bike riders lack skills necessary to tap out a 650, much less their eyeball flattening bikes.
Back in my scooter days (where I started) I always wanted to get the big dawg scooter like the Burgman or a T-max. You rarely see them around here.
I agree on the speed. I own an MT10 SP and most of the time I'm just cruising on that bike a few miles over the limit. I have even considered downgrading to an MT09. I need to keep my CDL A clean and cannot goof around too much on the bike.
That's why I downsized a long time ago. Now I all I want to know is how much torque a bike has.
“Riding a slow bike fast is better than riding a fast bike slow” that was good. I have a Z400 and absolutely love it.
Yeah it is fun ripping and throwing around the little bikes in the city. Cops don't mess with you either.
I had a Kawasaki Ninja 650 as my first street bike. I had a blast on it. I don't know what it is about slower bikes but they are a lot of fun.
Nice bike! You can get everything out of the smaller bikes, there is a great satisfaction in that.
Out of all my bikes I've owned over the years my 2019 z125 pro is the most fun and has the smallest motor of them all
Brother you nailed it, "Riding a slow bike fast..." I've started on a 1300cc HD Softail Slim, then a HD Street Glide special, then a Ducati Street Fighter V4, then a KTM Super Duke GT, a good friend of mine who tracked liter bikes got the same KTM SMR and went through bike like crazy, this is the first bike he has owned over a year and absolutely loves it.
Damn I remember in like 2013-2014 me watching your videos. Got me into the love of riding and getting my first bike a while ago which was a cbr600rr
I dont think you made a mistake. this is a great bike. i own the 701 and its my favorite bike in all the 10+ years ive been riding
This is why I was so happy with my Suzuki SV650. It ripped off the line and was a blast to ride. Grunty and plenty of power everywhere you wanted it
Great bikes, I'd happily have another one.
You finally get it! Keep riding that 690. The YZ won't be your favorite for much longer.
I agree, he’s too attached because it’s a Yamaha ✅
You should have gotten a lawnmower (with seat)
Damn near pissed myself!!!
🤣 I nearly got one when I had that GA country property but I had my neighbor cut all of them acres for me instead.
On the Dragon the KTM 690 is a weapon! I’ve seen them absolutely rip.
for people that have issue wit the seat height can't you lower a 690? Taking preload out from the forks and shock should help
Nice! Did you mod it yet? I got the full exhaust ready to install but waiting for all of the performance parts.
only thing I can say is, I can’t wait to see you clutch up a wheelie! Cheers 🍻 brotha anyone can wheelie a yz but I gotta see that Ktm and that mt07 up on one wheel
Have you ridden an adventure bike? Pretty quick to judge it.
I have a 2021 ktm 500 exc-f that I've been riding dirt since new. I just put in an order for supermoto tubeless wheels at warp9. Im very excited!
XR650R keeper for life,sm tires mostly...only bike, and only thing close to 690 or 701(torque,speed)..50y..:)...first time to comment but I watched you long time ago...CBR time..:)..safe ride, man✌
u should definitely get a fuel dongle pp02 for euro 5! best mod: easy to do and also cheap, smooths out a lot, very effective
CC, im really glad you got the 690, ive been stuck on pulling the trigger on a 690 or mt07, but i think you answered my questions in this video, thanks bro!!! although i may still need both😂
One question. Does the Ktm 690 have usb charging port like on the Husky 701? Cant find any info on this. Yours 2024 mode right?
I was once against cruiser bikes when I was in my 20s but I think they are the coolest thing ever in my latter 30s. Can't wait to get me one.
You are old, so your body is not what it used to be. That doesn't mean younger guys shouldn't enjoy SuperSports Bikes. Common!
@@DorianGRMC Total agree, i was talking from my age point of view. Less of the old shit though 😂😂
What about a CFmoto bike? They have KTM parts and I think made the engine as well. The nk800 looks pretty cool, but im thinking reliability wise not the best. Would like your opinions.
Thoughts on the Honda CB1000r Black edition?
I feel you bro, people gave me so much hate on my bike I'm getting in a week, honestly you have to just do for you an what makes you happy.
DUDE! GLITCH IN THE MATRIX STARTING AT 0:32 Bird flying overhead completely disappraers.
Cool bike, looks like a ton of fun!
Are my eyes broken or does it only have single discs brakes upfront??
For your next bike, what do you think about the duke 990
Do you not have to use the clutch lever ?
Are you riding it like it's a automatic?
If so that's pretty cool.
It’s got an up and down quickshifter. You can upshift at full throttle without the clutch. It also rev matches on downshifts.
Supermotos are the most fun bike there is for urban commutes and track days.
Dirt bike suspension with street bike tires.
It feels illegal!
Yep and they just want wheelie until your heart is content. My YZ450FX supermoto is a jizz machine. It is dopamine on two wheels.
Bruh keep doing you, I like everything you be getting.
What tires are you using again on your Yz450FX? the link in the description is broken.
cyclecruza.com/p0f6
@@CycleCruza Thanks man.
How you doin, tell have you ridden any of the new CFMOTO bikes? ie: 450mt or those x700's?
I hear they are great bikes. From what I hear CF Moto make KTM engines. I need to try one.
I was curious how many miles you have on your YZ and if you've ever done a valve inspection. Thanks!
Recently he said he's never checked the valves.
I’m a 53 yr old woman and I ride a 1996 Yamaha xt225. A bit on the slow side, but I only ride on the back roads anyways. I would love to ride the mt but can’t see spending the money. So I have been thinking about the ktm390. Probably more my speed.
Great way to start a Sunday!
Hey thanks for viewing! I hope your Sunday is going well.
It’s all preference. I started riding at 5 years old. I raced outdoor National Mx and now I love superbikes. I’m gonna rage till I’m dead or it kills me
Totally agree with what you said. I had a Fz6 fazer, twice the power of my current XT660x but im having 100x more fun on the XT.
How much difference in the street between this and mto7 power wise? My guess is the ktm feels like it hits harder.
Bike is sick! Keep going with this build: )
Best bike I have owned!
There are always haters!
SMs are the best fun on two wheels.
Go for it CC!
💯👍 Sm's are extremely addictive. I want to start a supermoto collection, maybe do a fuel injected 2 stroke supermoto next.
It’s all preference. I started riding at 5 years old. I raced outdoor National Mx and now I love superbikes. I’m gonna rage till I’m dead or it kills me. I’m in my early 40s
I have a CBR600RR and think it is perfect for where I ride. Not one stoplight to my 8 mile commute to work
GREAT VIDS,,,52 about to purchase 1st bike,,,RPS Hawk proX 250..
Racer!
Id like to see you compare your KTM SMRC to a Zero FXE. 289lbs, with 78Ftlbs torque.
Well cycle cruza don't worry about pleasing the haters. Get what pleases you and you alone.like I've said before I'm not really into super moto.. but I am looking for some used super moto wheels for my wr250r so I can try it out. And if I don't like it then I can always put the dirt wheels back on
You think the ktm is more fun than the cbr 600 rr , because its also ok the loghter side right
100% yes. Supermotos RULE!
@@CycleCruza thank you bro
I wonder how the KTM would compare to the YAMMIE with both having same or near same upgrades?
YZ wins but we'll see, I'm doing all of the performance mods on the KTM. I have a full Leo Vince exhaust and a bunch of Rottweiler stuff coming. However, the YZ will always be lighter weight and more wicked.
I love your bike, i miss your love from the Honda because i start in Your chanel because of that.
But that KTM is sick.
It has been so long since I had a Honda but I need to get another. I really liked that cb1000r black edition neo cafe, sick bike.
@@CycleCruza Yes men for me is the beauty of Honda, all in black.
My dreambike since Honda put that one in the market.
I am from Argentina I have an Honda XR 250 totally a Honda fan.
Don't worry about the haters they are going to make your channel grow 🤣
You ride what you want mate, I ride a bmw f800st it's not everyones cup of tea but I like it , you do you my guy
More like 14,000 now too much money
Great bike choice, don't hear the haters. You nailed it man 💯
Instructions unclear ended up on a one litre supermoto. 🤣
If you don’t have haters, then you’re not doing it right! don’t trip on jealousy. It’s a nasty fragrance to wear. 😎
Love The KTM 690 you bought. All around fun bike.
anyone who says super motos or dual sports are tall cant complain.
I like that bike. Looking to buy my first bike this summer. That bike is on my list.
Get what you want not what I want you to get. You are right when went from kawi ninja to klx300 my world changed. Dual sport is the shnizle
I love this bike. Didn't work out for me when I had my 701, but it's still a great bike. Haters be hatin'.
Who gives a flying F what others think about what bike you get? Always remember haters gon hate, and riding is all about the love! Ride what you love, love what you ride, and damn the torpedoes!
Well, since CC makes a few videos with this question on what bike to get next...
@@mikemiller774 I was speaking more in generalities than directly to Mr. Cruza, but I see your point.
And full speed ahead.
I own an MT09SP, now ya gots me thinking, CycleCruza.
People are gonna hate on any bike you have, I say ride what you like, can’t please everyone.
Hey yo, nice new video.
I need a liter bike because anything smaller looks to small on my 6'2" 280lb ass. I wish I could get a MT07/09 but they look like toys on me.
I have made suggestions, but am still satisfied with your choices when they are far removed from what I suggested. You've opened my eyes to many different categories of motorcycle that I would have otherwise ignored. You are a motorcycle connoisseur @CycleCruza.
Just bought a 690 Duke, bad ass hands down
