the reason celebrity tequilas are bad for the entire industry is because they are cookie cutter tequilas which mean you can just slap a different label on the same tequila and call it something else. since they can also sell off their name a lot of distilleries use half aged agave forcing the traditional distilleries to do the same to be able to compete. and the price of agave goes up

Doing shot after shot while talking about how she doesn't like that brand, with no description of notes, taste, etc... until she's drunk and kinda likes the last couple shots isn't the best review method.

There's also a very good chance that that person is an expert and judging that person from an edited Buzzfeed video is probably quite ignorant.

Coming into this I was told that one is the one everyone’s been dragging, but they’re dragging the celebrity for the way she’s put it out. When i had this I was so confused at how this does not taste like tequila at all. I actually did a double take because it was as if you’re drinking cereal or melted marshmallows. I’m not into sweets at all, and this was a let down. But i finally understand why they say anyone can drink it being so drinkable. “Cereal” 😂 The one that I ended up liking was Adam Levine’s Calirosa Rosa Blanco. Granted I hated the way it was promoted “Mexican fusion with a Cali lifestyle” so I wanted to see wtf was that about. I talked about these things but they didn’t make it in the cut. The Calirosa blanco still has that tequila taste in the very end, sadly it’s minor but in all honestly i picked that one out of all of them because it was so herbal. Not in the sweet or minty way but very herbal-ish. Give it a shot but don’t mix it! 💞
I wish she'd actually review how they taste instead of just saying they're bad. Instead of having a bartender I think it would have been better to have someone with a technical knowledge, like a distiller or even like a tequila sommelier? If there even is such thing.

A good tequila should always be smooth. You shouldn't have to chase it with anything not even with a lime. Good tequilas don't burn your throat when you drink them. They're just warm and smooth.
Not a credible review when you just say “no” after trying one. Why not give reasons as to why it’s a “no”… i.e. tasting notes and a panel would’ve been more helpful rather than one person with a negative, undeveloped opinion of each.
If you like marshmallow go for it! :) It’s like you’re tasting cereal, you know when you bake and you can add the artificial flavors? That’s what that was, that’s why I say drink whatever you like. Personally these didn’t work for me because I don’t think tequila should have artificial flavors. But I do know a lot of people that enjoy them. There’s way to produce this without having to overly kill the spirit. But if you’re into it, then by all means go for it! If you aren’t I highly recommend Tesoro Tequila, Fortaleza, Tapatío, you want that kick? Tapatío 110, Caballito, Siembra Valles, Siete Leguas, Siembra Azul. Those are always my immediate go-tos. 💞
I've moved on from Casamigos at least a year and a half ago and now it's all the rage, I still like their Mezcal though, I'd drink that over the Tequilas...I was hoping Lebron's Lobos 1707 was in this group, because that's some pretty good Tequila and even though I'm normally a Blanco kinda guy, the Reposado is smashing
Out of all of the tequilas in this review only one is verified additive free. And that one is Santo tequila. I actually enjoy that one neat or in a cocktail. I highly recommend it!

I wound never waist my money on a celebrity liquor. If I want good alcohol I go to a professional not a celebrity who doesn't even take the time to learn anything about the history and craftsmanship that goes into making Mezcal or Tequila. It's a quick cash grab and not worth the time or effort
