So I saw a UA-cam short of a singer eating cigarettes and I had to know more. Turns out it was Eric Nally from the band Foxy Shazam.
This is my reaction to him eating cigarettes on stage and to their 2012 song "I Like It" from the 2012 album "The Church of Rock and Roll".
Thank you for watching,
Colin
The cigarette eating clip is from:
Chris Bravener

Is the band better than the gimmick?
Ive loved them since 2007...never met anyone else whos even heard of them
I randomly came across a short of him doing the cigarette thing. Had to know more
Great band
This whole album is fire...."The Church Of Rock And Roll"
Kind of an unabashed rock vibe. Reminds me of Andrew WK in a way.
Ha. I saw these guys years ago at the Bunbury Festival (Cincinnati's attempt at Lollapalooza). They were supposed to take over the world. I will have to find that article. Never heard them since. Glad they finally made it to British Columbia.
Looks like they put out a record this year. I think I’m gonna check it out. How were they live?
I checked and that was back in 2012. I was there to see Jane's Addiction and the other cool band that year was Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band (if you ever heard of them - kind of Rednecky type of White Stripes with a washboard). Anyway, all I remember of Foxy Shazam was that Freddy Mercury looking dude (you nailed that) and their weird name. I wanted to check them out because the article in the local newspaper said they were the next big thing. We watched a few songs, but my buddy wanted to see another band (multiple stages). They seemed like a band from the past from what I remember. I never heard of them again until you jarred my memory.@@colinlamb
Are you familiar with Coheed and Cambria? I would request either them, or Hyper Crush for you to react
Funny you mention c&c. They were just in town. My buddy took his whole family, including his bro, sis, 65 yo parents and 80 yo grandmas. I need to get in there. What’s a good C&C video to start with?
@colinlamb it so hard for me to say because the band kind of evolves over time with every album to a degree. Everyone always reacts to the same two songs...so I think I would suggest "The willing well II: from fear through the eyes of madness"
@@colinlamb I've seen them live like 8 times, it's quite the mix of people usually
Thank you. I’m on it!
Great track THANK YOU---> ua-cam.com/video/zZp6mSE0SkA/v-deo.htmlsi=x7klf2ofTNXwnq7j
