Being a 20 year old girl called Anna in 1993 meant I was hounded by this song. It did not really ease up until Basshunter - Boten Anna. That is a song I think deserves a reaction too.
Sorry, I was probably one of those kids you wanted to kick in the head for singing it on the streets. Du ä så jävla special! FYI, I made a bot on IRC qnet and named it Anna after Basshunter released that song, people didn't even understand what the lyrics was about as it was so gamer centric and it annoyed me, so I wanted to show people. I think I am your nemesis for life by now. Truly I am sorry (a little :D)
This was huuuuge when I was a teenager, but I haven't heard it in almost 20 years. Thanks for bringing back those memories! :-) And while Ronny and Ragge were definitely Peter & Fredde's biggest success back then, I remember them even more for the summer children's program, with fairy tale parodies like "Snaskungen".
Hello Jonathan. Your reactions are great. I've watched almost every one of them. I remember you saying that you might do a Cornelis Vreeswijk tuesday night hang sometime. I've been excited for it ever since you mentioned it. I hope it gets done soon! Have a good day! PS: Your special was funny as h3ll too
A couple of fun facts. Peter Settman who played Ronny, is now a TV diretor and owner of a production company, and back in the day he had a serious chrush on Gry Forsell so he gave her the role of Anna in the TV-series (Not in the music video, I think it is teh real vocalist who were playing Anna in the music video)
UA-cam is magic. It knew I had this on tape when I was 10. Cool channel you have Jonathan, don't think I've been recommended it before Ronny and Ragge lol. They did have 1 or even 2 more verses btw, this is shortened "radio version"! Good catch by you.
I was never that into Ronny & Ragge, not my kind of humor, but this song was on the radio all the time so you could not miss it. And about their new words ... Just a couple of blocks from where I grew up, there was a street called Pökängsgatan. This was nothing special at all, until this show came on and people living there wanted to change its name. But from what I know it's still the name of that street.
Ronny & Ragge were crazy big in the early 90s. It was a pretty funny TV series, but always liked the TV series that Peter Settman and Fredde Granberg did after it, "Snutarna" (about two police officers with 70s clothes and hairstyles) and "Dom kallar oss Tratten & Finkel" (about two alcoholics, that was the best one). As "Snutarna" they also made a record, there is a music video for the song "Vill du bli min polis?"
I will not give up until you try some more rock. (no nasal singing here...) Johnossi - Whats the point Ceasars - Jerk it out The Hives - Hate to say i told you so Sugarplum Fairy - Marigold The soundtrack of our lives - Instant repeater ´99 Lambretta - Bimbo Takida - Curly Sue Mano Diao - Gloria Andreas Johnson - glorious Millencolin - Leona Sator - I wanna go home
Pökpåse makes sense actually. Imagine for a moment they did only invent the term pöka, meaning to have sex (verb). You could join that word with a noun like påse, giving pökapåse. However, more often than not, you make a noun of the verb before joining them, with pökpåse as a natural result. The real problem is that they also invented the word pök (noun) meaning a woman, confusing the audience.
They also did a funny thing with "Tratten & Finkel" a very drunk finn and his swedish fellow in Fruängen, south of Sthlm... but not much music there.. 😅
Love that you will react to De Lyckliga Kompisarna: Hockeyfrilla - I would personally like to hear your reaction to some of their other songs (that is a bit more critical towards the society which is almost all song on the same album) but I get why that song is chosen. I hope though that you will not just brush them of as a joke-band just because this song is a bit silly. They had some more depth to it as well...
Raggare us a person who belongs to a motorized subculture. Big in the 50's and 60's and most common in sparesly populated areas and small towns. The rode old, big American cars. The word raggare is a slang word meaning "shaggy" as in unkept hair. To "ragga" is to pick up girls seeking sexual contact.
Nice to see that you warmed up to our silly side. 😂 As far as Ishockeyfrisyr is concerned, yes, there certainly are humur in the lyrics, but I wouldn't call it a joke song in the same way this is. DLK is a very classic Swedish trallpunkband that just happened to be funny dudes. A bit like Toy dolls, for example.
The last line has very low volym, but you can hear it ob their album, which I happen to have at home in 😅. I really love this guy's, they made my teenagers years a whole lot funnier
Please follow up the Anna-trail with an older classic: Anna Kaffepanna by Owe Törnqvist. Catchy melody, lyrics telling a story and obvious possibility to interpret in a noninnocent way) like blues and som rock lyrics ina 1950's USA).
Är det Lilling Palmeklint på sång? Hon har körat på Lundell, Cornelis, Siw Malmqvist, Blue for Two, Perssons Pack, Swen Wollter, Eldkvarn, Carola, Wilmer X, Lill Lindfors, Staffan Hellstrand.
Peter brought Mello to America! (ratings showed they didn’t want it tho...)
I can see why people liked them. But for me, I 'm from Värmland and there's too much reality in it. Like: Do I also have to watch this crap on the TV-screen now? 😂
Being a 20 year old girl called Anna in 1993 meant I was hounded by this song. It did not really ease up until Basshunter - Boten Anna. That is a song I think deserves a reaction too.

Yeah, Boten Anna is also a classic! Also Basshunter - Now You're Gone.

. . Härlig punk
Kvalitetsunderhållning from back in the days.

Definitivt en klassiker!

Gry played Bettan, not Anna :)
Oh Laura - release me
Weeping willows - Touch me
Eskobar - someone new
Yes! Release me is such an insanely good song. The singers vocals are unique and world class?

Funny fact, settman, the slim one, is one of the wealthiest person in the media industri in Sweden worth around 200 million

Let's watch some episodes of the Ronny & Ragge series.
I will not give up until you try some more rock. (no nasal singing here...)
Johnossi - Whats the point
Ceasars - Jerk it out
The Hives - Hate to say i told you so
Sugarplum Fairy - Marigold
The soundtrack of our lives - Instant repeater ´99
Lambretta - Bimbo
Takida - Curly Sue
Mano Diao - Gloria
Andreas Johnson - glorious
Millencolin - Leona
Sator - I wanna go home
The Hives - Hate to say I told you so❤
Stort plus 1 på Lambretta och Andreas Johnson!!
Joakim Hillsson - Vacker utan spackel

Great song and show from my childhood. Really looking forward to the next one too, as I suggested Ishockeyfrisyr. :D

From one of the best Swedish TV shows ever.
A pök could also just mean a "fuck", and that could just be a person you did or want to do it with.
Svullo Svullo Svullo! Kolla Svullo nästa fyfan ❤👍
Så klart är det en bangar 💥💥👊😁
While "pök" is referring to a person I see it more as a synonym to "ett ligg" and pöka is the verb.

If you are up to some more electric banana band then I think you would enjoy "Jag ska bli en byråkrat". The melody is well worth it. The text to. 😊
You should do more of Ronny & Ragge, sure they are all silly, but they all also has this music quality and entertainment and they are all classics :)
Or watch an episode!
@@Wloppish Yeah, that would be fun as well, maybe as part of the classic clips series?
”They are all classics”?? Naah. They have two Swedish Classics that have perpetuated: ”Rara söta Anna” and ”Köra fort som fan”.
