- I picked this tractor up in summer of 2017. At the time I really wanted to get into a 4X5 series, and happen to come across this one. I was specifically looking for a '99 or newer with the metal cam gear. I was very happy to have found this 2000 model in the 600 hour range.
Very impressed with the quality of cut from the 54'' deck, and would in the future would like to find a 2 bag MCS with powerflow to pickup leaves in the fall.

Such a clean survivor tractor! It has the exact same number of hours as my 318 currently.
FYI, they have replacement valve covers. Now are aluminum and don’t have the fill neck, the old ones would warp and leak. Part number is 11022-2082.
I have 1950 hours on one of these they great mowers.
Very nice machine! Wouldn’t mind having one like it myself. Finding one that nice would be a needle in a haystack.
Great video and review. I am considering one for a 1.5 acre lot on a decent hill. Will the deck blades stay engaged when in reverse?

What is a fair price for a 2001 JD 445 with a 60" deck, 4 wheel steering and 670 hours? Also, do the 445's have power steering and deck lift? Could not tell from your video or anything I've read about them.
It looks like the locker pedal is stuck down
The diff button will go down when you set the emergency brake.
