Jujutsu Kaisen has the potential to be one of the new big Shonen anime to be remembered for years and this OP definitely will stay in my head for a while.
I guess Jujutsu Kaisen is the new Bleach just like Black Clover is the new Naruto and My Hero Academia is the new One Piece.

@@strunchshag6129 Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece is the old generation battle Shonen back in the late 1990s or early 2000s while Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia is the new generation of battle Shonen starting in the 2010s. The reason I compare My Hero Academia to One Piece is some of its content being fun and friendly but at the same time not always dark. Usually Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover, and Jujutsu Kaisen are at times funny on some occasions but mostly have serious moments.
Agree, it just need that one moment that makes it an instant classic, like how Dragon Ball Z has the Super Saiyan transformation or Naruto with the Rock Lee Vs Gaara fight.
@@davidcohen5446 One piece has serious moments too hell early on Nami got to see her mom shot dead in front of her. Then there's also the moment when luffy lost his crew and broke down. To say one piece doesn't have serious moments is a lie I would argue it has way more then my hero academia. And just because my hero academia came out later doesn't replace one piece lmao one piece story telling and world building is leagues beyond my hero academia.

@@bingo784 the ending is good due to the video rather than the song. The song is good on its own, but it works a lot better working with the video whereas the opening stands on its own a lot better.
That moment when an Eve song is given a cover treatment it deserves, its a good moment. Plus after listening to this, I feel like Sam could cover a lot of Eve songs awesomely

Honestly, what I love about your English Covers is how well you integrate accurate translations with actual FUN verses! It's a weird thing to say, but most of the times I hear covers, they tend to not be able to reach that.
YES! I appreciate the translations so much, as much as I like NateWantsToBattle and AmaLee, their covers usually just drop all the meaning of the original song.

There's something about that line that makes it really special to me. I'mma get deep for a second.
This part makes me realize some things. All my personal fights and dreams have gotten me a little burnt out, to the point that sometimes I feel like I want to give up all these fights and in my head there's this question spinning around "is it too bad to say I'm tired?" That's when the first 3 lines hit me hard. The 4th line "you can go ahaed and laugh now" makes me realize that I am not the only one that feels that way. Everybody is going through something and everyone is tired, so me wanting to say I'm tired makes me think that I should get over myself and just keep going. However, this part doesn't make me sad. Yes it makes me realize that I am tired but it also makes me realize that that's just part of the journey and because of it I have achieved stuff that I thought impossible and through it I see the beauty of growing and learning and becoming stronger. And that fills me with strength to carry on.
I don't know why I wrote all this, just wanted to write down some of my thoughts. If anyone is reading this and you understand what I mean, I'll just say one thing before closing out this diary of deep thoughts lol
I know you're tired, and I think that's ok. But don't let that feeling get you off your path. Keep fighting for your goals and you will get there, I promise. No matter how collosal that mountain of yours looks, you can climb it. And when you're at the top you will feel proud and happy that your pain wasn't in vain. So for now just keep going, guard your wounds and run. Just a little longer. You got this.

Bruh this really is THE English dub. The lyrics are a bit more changed than some others I've seen but it's still near the bullseye with the same melody, tune, flow as the original. Imo this is the best cover out there for this and the only two people that can make a better cover are you and eve. Though tbh to ask for a "better cover" would be asking for a lot.

Usually when people cover Eve they either oversimplify the translation and miss the meaning or impose their own meaning while trying to make the grammar more American.
I've listened to way too much Eve and often find myself translating his stuff by ear when I'm bored (I know a very minimal amount of Japanese from lessons, just fundamentals and basics, and I sometimes carry an eng-jap dictionary on me to help me practice). This is the first time I've felt like I was hearing the same lyrics in both English and the original. Well done, very well done!
