@@Billiamwoods well not all of his lyrics are bad, obviously some are and his sense of humor and style aint for everyone. But his delivery on the ”bad” lyrics are clearly satirical for someone whos listened to alot of him. He has always made stupid lyrics and had fun with them but I guess its cool to hate nowadays

Comedown Machine is amazing. I often listen to to it from start to finish, something I do not do with other Strokes' albums.

Fantano listened to comedown machine once or twice,made his opinion and never changed. Most fans would rank It close to Angles and/or new abnormal. As a fan, I love it, every single song is at least good, some Strokes álbuns arent like that

@@alex11v3unpopular opinion but I think First Impressions of Earth is their worst album to be honest. Angles is very messy but the high points of that album are very high imo. Besides You Only Live Once, I almost never listen to anything else on FIOE
@@nahyeah7249 That isnt a very unpopular opinion because thats a very polarizing album, the consensus is a mixed bag with good and forgettable songs. But thats the consesus, for me First Impressions of Earth is their second best album and in some moments better than Is This It, You Only Live Once isnt even top 5 on the record, Ize of The World and Juicebox have literally the best choruses the band ever wrote. And Angle literally has no highs, two goods songs, Macchu Picchu and Life is Simple in The Moonlight, and every else is dull, boring, without any inspiration and very poorly mixed(even Life Is Simple is poorly mixed and thats an awesome song). Comedown in comparation is messy and poorly mixed but it bangs in a lot of moments, and the moments that dont bang its just forgettable, there isnt an horrible song by any means on Comedown(Angles on the other hand, you have many).

Comedown Machine is a pretty good album, honestly. Tap Out and Welcome to Japan are some of the best rock songs of the last decade.

I will die on the hill that Comedown Machine is a good album. It might not be perfect, but it’s a really solid collection of tracks with some absolute bangers on it (One Way Trigger, Partners In Crime, Happy Ending, etc). It’s no Is This It or New Abnormal, but for an album that was made just so they could satisfy their record contract. It’s way better than it has any right to be. Also, you cannot look at me with a straight face and say it’s worse than FIOE.

Angles better than comedown machine is crazy to me
i'm biased since the strokes are my favorite band, but i really don't think they have any bad records, and i feel comedown machine really isn't that bad. If I had to pick a least good record of their's, I would say FIOE, which still has some great songs like juicebox, ize of the world razorblade. Songs like Tap Out, welcome to Japan, all the Time, call it fate call it karma are pretty great

Comedown Machine is a good album imo. I didn’t enjoy like 1 or 2 tracks off of it, but One Way Trigger, Call it Fate Call it Karma, Comedown Machine, those are all good songs!!
Habitual is probably one of the better songs on Changes.
It isn’t anything special, just laid back. Kinda like that tbh.
FIOE could be argued to be worse honestly, and even if not, Comedown Machine gets way more hate than it deserves. A lot of great tracks on there

Honestly it's surprising that the guy that made STAN can make a worse album than ENCORE. Encode was actually decent but it had its very low lows, but eminem released atleast 2 albums, that imo are considerably worse than encore
FIOE is miles worse than Comedown Machine, CM is just mid tbh. It’s got good tracks but is very very very forgettable. FIOE is awful and is an absolute slog to get through
FIOE has some great songs though, like razorblade, juicebox, heart in a cage, ize of the world you only live once etc.

Honestly, as much hate as revival gets, I actually quite like the songs castle and arose, both in concept and in practice. While the rest of the album is really weak, I think those two really stand out amidst the sea of sewage that is that album

No, Revival is WAY worse than Encore and honestly, I actually like Encore. Like I do agree that Big Weenie is not a good song, it also gave us songs like Mockingbird, Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, Never Enough, Just Lose It which are all very solid songs imo. Whereas with Revival, there’s only like 4 songs on that album that I think are decent and most of the songs on that album are just boring.

Comedown machine is probably my least fav strokes too, but it actually really has grown on me. I’m tempted to say it’s slightly below First Impressions of Earth (which is a real mixed bag).

I personally really enjoy every album from The Strokes. Most of the them are pretty different from the next (Is This It & Room on Fire being most similar). And good in the lane each one is in.
There really isn’t a big loser in their disco. There are def a couple big winners though. I enjoy their original sound a ton.

I really like Comedown Machine, but i will say that its between itself and Angles for worst Strokes album, and they are both still good albums. It speaks to how good the Strokes have been consistently that their worst is still a good 6/7 album in my mind.
Comedown Machine is very scattered and inconsistent of a project but I at least enjoy and tolerate a handful of songs on there. First Impressions of Earth on the other hand peaks at the first song and gets somehow worse with each track. Only Strokes record I can’t sit and make it through.
Comedown Machine is an amazing álbum tap out, all the time, chances, one way trigger, call it fate call it karma, happy Ending, slow Animals, 15 minutes, 50/50, is back to back album, but i know some people maybe hope some different like first Impressions on Earth or angles but they've experimental

The thing about comedown machine is it’s actually good but of all the strokes records it’s the most forgettable. But it’s really not as bad as lemon man makes it out to be. Chances, Welcome to Japan, Call it Fate Call it Karma. All bops. And I’ve found personal enjoyment with slow animals, 50/50, and others. Just because it’s not a smash doesn’t make it a failed project. Strong 5.
i also think tap out and all the time are great songs too. I don't think comedown machine is bad, i'd say if i had to pick the "worst" strokes record (and i don't think any are bad), i'd say their least good project is FIOE. Which still has great songs like you only live once, razorblade, juicebox, heart in a cage ize of the world etc

nah melon comedown machine is still good. For their only real alternative/indie album it has some gems on it. Chances, Tap out, welcome to japan are slaps.
It's funny that Eminem doesn't even make music anymore(except a few features), but Fat Man can't let it go. It doesn't matter whether you or I likes Revival or not. It's just a batch a songs that he made for his hardcores. Do I like Revival? No. Do I make a fuss about it? No. I get it. You don't like Revival. Now STFU. It's been like 6 years already.

Tbh I don't see the revival hate. I'm not even defending here , he's been really corny for the last few years but I think Kamikaze and Encore are much worse albums than revival . Specially Kamikaze, that album is basically offensive and not in a good way. Atleast Revival has castle and Arose and the worst songs are just funny and stupid
