I saw him at a concert a couple of years ago, it was his 63rd birthday - we sung happy birthday to him. He still sounds like this, he’s amazing in concert.
The first time I've heard this song was in the ending credits of Robin Hood: The Prince of Thieves, and ever since then Bryan Adam's "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" is by far one of my all-time favorite songs. Just a truly beautiful piece🫢
I had a roommate in college back in 1991 - 92 who would play the Robin Hood soundtrack on repeat all day. Kind of got sick of it after a while. But now, when I think back on those days, it's pretty much the theme song for 1991.
@@Elurin There is quite a number of songs I can listen to on repeat, and Linkin' Parks "New divide" from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen isn't one of them. After watching the Revenge of the Fallen my nephew found the song "New Divide" and repeatedly listened to the song multiple times several times in a row.
This is an amazing song. According to him, he was asked to write a song for the movie Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. For whatever reason, they didn't like it and put it at the very end credits but the public went crazy and it's still one of his most popular songs and he can still sing this and all his hits from the 80's perfectly.
I was first drawn to his music by hearing one of his live albums. To me he sounds far better live than on his studio records. More dynamic edge to his voice. Some of his best on youtube: Most of the best aren't available though ua-cam.com/video/g7wgPdn6HZQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/ZvVxyMuw1Ig/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/R44m5UrwI8c/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/m7xqtLTBrHY/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/GdKe2KfGMNE/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/s8FU7qca0u4/v-deo.html
he really is humble , most won't believe but I saw him live at least 3 times in a club for 300 people (in Portugal and just because he always loved it) and he didnt charge customers(was first come first served) or the club, the revenue for the club was whatever customers consumed. Lots of people don't even understand how big Bryan was in early/mid 80's to early 90's.
I took my wife to a concert, and he started to sing "Heaven " and you could hear every woman in the crowd exhale at the same time, it happened again after the first line of this one. My wife said that was the sound of every man getting lucky tonight.
Man…. Before 2000. Yes the performer sounded great live. You couldn’t hide behind a autotune like they do today. There are some very popular artists today if you took that away from them in the studio? Live? They’re not really that good.
Excellent choice for the reaction Miss Bisscute, this live performance is fantastic. For future reactions I recommend you the Songs: Heaven from the same concert (live at wemblay 1996) and 18'till I die. and please react to the song: All for love (official video) collaboration of 3 greats: Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting if you haven't heard it you will love it.
Bright Angel - I'm sure you got many young men who would do everything for you. Thank you for all the hard work and great music you bring us. Your commentary is always fantastic.
LOVE YA GIRL! I remember when Bryan Adams first burst onto the U.S. Music scene in a big way, nationwide, with his very first big hit outside his native Canada with the release of "Cuts Like A Knife", and the Album Reckless, (1984), which featured "Summer of 69", "Run to You", and "Heaven". He went on to record much more afterwards, but for me, Bryan Adams first hits in the United States shall always be the best. I was a senior in high-school and graduated in June of that year. Every time I hear those songs I get nostalgic feelings, and in my minds eye i am transported back to the time I and my buds were young and free. When everything was all brand new, and we had the world at our feet. Love those Bryan Adams songs from his early days. Still here for them, today. Thanks Biss for this little look back. Peace and love from your guy in the States- high in the mountains of East Tennessee. Later, girl.
This song had a SIXTEEN WEEK run at Number 1 in the UK in the Summer of 1991 - from July 7th to October 27th - and it still holds the record today for the longest consecutive period at the top of the UK Singles Chart! The summer of 1991 was dominated by this song, and at the box office, by both Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Terminator 2. Many people got sick of hearing this song at the time, but not me: I knew it was class, and it was better than most of what was around in the rest of the chart at the time. Great memories! Also great to see this performance at the classic Wembley Stadium (as also seen during Live Aid). The new Wembley might have a bigger capacity and be more up-to-date, but the old Wembley with the twin towers had real atmosphere and character.
Im going to have this song in my head now for the rest of the week which I don't mind cause I used to jam to this song back in the 90s and I still jam to this song in 2024 your so awesome Bliss.
You need to react to robinhood prince of thieves where this song was in the movie. One of my favorite Robbin hood movies. Pretty sure when compact cd’s came out this was one of the first 10 cd’s I ever bought in middle school. Others were Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Metallica, AC/DC Guns N’ Roses.
Just adding onto that, this was the theme song from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Biss. Put it on a poll on your movie channel. You won't be disappointed.
I saw Bryan when he opened for Journey, their "Frontiers" tour, way back in 1983 on his "Cuts Like A Knife" tour. He was getting lots of airplay on MTV with the title track of his album.
Wait a minute? You're Romania!!!???? Wow. I've never heard of a Romania roll there "R"'s like you do. I had a Romania Girlfriend in High School as a Student Exchange program and she didn't sound a thing like that. Well God Bless you Hun. Keep up the great work.
un clasic instant melodia asta si desi o stiu de la inceputul anilor 90 nu sia pierdut din intensitate..aduce o bucata de suflet inapoi celor care au mai pierdut din el pe drum
I saw dozens of big concerts in Lisbon in 90's, including Brian Adams. I already saw him 3 times (1994 I think; 2003 and 2019). One thing was much better... We was there to see and listen. Now people are there to record and saw the concerts on the mobile screen...
Bisscute,You are so perceptive to see Bryan's humbleness. We Canadians are the most humble of all nations. That's what makes us the greatest people to ever exist anywhere in the entire Universe! But please do not feel obligated to bow before us. That is strictly optional. 😜
One of the things that drew me to Brysn is his humbleness. Even when he's singing, you get a sense that he is thrilled people listen to him instead of thinking "I'm a singer, you HAVE to listen".
He did the soundtrack to the kid’s movie “ Spirit”…. Magnificent!Lucky to see him open up for Journey in 1982 and again here in Atlanta in the early 2000’s…
Thank you for that excellent reaction and with respect to your mother, she knows I like it, good vibes, blessings 💚💛❤️ Waiting for more Guns n Roses songs
Que baita música !!!! ótima escolha , afinal grandes sucessos nunca perdem a validade ao contrário só ficam cada vez melhor néééé....... um bom dia tchau tchau
We were going to see him today in Norfolk, Virginia but the next six shows were canceled. Hope everything is OK at home with Brain and his band. He is not just a great singer but an artist and one of my favorite songwriters. Brian Adams was always on my bucket list. Hope to catch him soon live!
Bryan Adams is a solid all around artist, even after finishing up (semi retired) from performing on stage. He is a solid photographer....probably one of the best artists Canada ever produced in my opinion. But am Canadian so we are rather bias about our own..lol
As a Canadian, Bryan Adams has made us so Proud for many Years, What a Singer/Songwriter
100% proud of his accomplishments.
Never really liked his music much, but his photography is absolutely brilliant. His portrait of Princess Diana is wonderful.
He's a bigger inspiration than Trudeau.
Saw him live Nov 2022 and he killed it and being a music lover and Canadian this guy can do no wrong by me!
@@MrJocky82 I've taken dumps more inspirational than Trudeau :D
It's hard to explain to anyone who wasn't there just how unbelievably massive this song was.
It was number 1 on the UK charts for FOUR MONTHS.
For real! In the Netherlands as well lol, there was no escaping it!
for sure and that was back when number 1 had more prestige and honor
@@elikahnapace8668True. And a gold record today is just 50,000 copies.
I think it spent 8 or 10 weeks at #1 in Australia too. It was HUGE here.

Saw him live for the 1st time last Oct '23 ...that voice is still so incredible!! 😍😍😍
@@jennujor1551I agree. Many singers tend to lose their ability to hit them high notes, as they get older, but he still sounds like on the record.
Bryan Adam is a Canadian treasure, and his career is one that many of us in Canada love because he is a true performer that sings from his heart
That man just made sweet love with that guitar.

I'm not Canadian but my sister does, for 40 yrs I think. I have always loved Bryan Adams, what a singer/vocalist/songwriter he is!🥰🥰🥰

Saw him perform live. Absolutely incredible. I cried in front of tons people. No shame. Everybody in the crowd knows all the words to all his songs.
These old tunes bring back such awesome memories! Always loved Bryan Adam’s. Tons of them r on my playlist!
I was just listening to Bryan Adams. I grew up listening to his music. He's part of the pillar. This is so strong it will never fall down.
I just saw Bryan Adams in concert last night in Sunrise, FL. One of the best live shows I have seen, and by all accounts he is a great person.
LOL, I'm a 56-year-old man and I would have loved to been in the front row back in 1996. Bryan Adams definitely has a powerful voice live.
Keith Scott (Bryan Adam's lead guitarist) is sooo good. Vastly underappreciated guitarist and he's been with him since his debuts.
One of the most amazing rock voices. He's wonderful. You should absolutely react to Sting/Bryan Adams/Rod Stewart singing 'All For Love'

The Robin Hood song. It sold the movie, the movie sold the song just like the titanic with Céline.
