God I feel old. Their first album did it for me, and led me to most of the music I still listen to today. It was so raw and powerful. Every track was worth listening to.
Untouchables was the last album by KoRn I actually liked. It felt like they stopped trying after that. It's like they were just putting out albums to appease their label, as an excuse to keep touring, and ultimately, to keep cash rolling in.
@@WhyDoBabiesStareAtMe That's where many draw the line with Korn. Those first 5 albums are something special but I also add in TALITM in there as well. It was nothing more than a really watered down Untouchables but was still good. Once Head left it started going downhill fast. SYOTOS had it's moments but that old Korn style was completely gone. Then David left too and then that's when I tapped out of Korn for awhile. Only came back once Head came back. I liked their past 2 albums. I'd go as far as to say Serenity Of Suffering is their best album since TALITM.
I got into Korn way before this song but this song remains one of my all time favorites by the band and definitely my fav from the Untouchables album.

One of my favorite Korn songs, my favorite album is Issues though I'm not a massive Korn fan, i enjoy some of their tunes... amazing job on the cover as per usual, keep going dude!!! don't know if you're a fan, but it would be great to listen to you cover SOAD, I'm a big fan of the band!!!

I’m not a die hard Korn fan but I can listen to the complete Untouchables album front to back any day. When I first heard Here To Stay I was blown away, yet I don’t care much for the self titled album, Life Is Peachy, or Issues besides the singles on those albums. Follow the Leader was good. But for some reason Untouchables just blew me away. Still can’t quite figure that one out.
I will add I have yet to listen to their most recent album though I heard it’s really good. I really liked The Serenity of Suffering, that was the first Korn album I liked since Untouchables. I think I really liked it cause the sound of it kind of reminded me of Untouchables

Juat curious how much your guitar weighs? Im getting a seven string today and i was wondering about weight. In have a schecter omen 6 but it weighs like 50 lbs lol
Depends what kind of wood it's made of. This Ibanez is basswood so it's not too light or too heavy. It's around 15 lbs I'd guess. If you want something lightweight, get something with a mahogany body. Mahogany weighs practically nothing
Did you change the pitch of the Koran covers? They don’t sound as deep as the original song. Still love the cover tho!
Nope, it's the original pitch. I hardly ever change pitch unless it's for copyright reasons.
So on the intro.. What effect do u use? The tab i looked at said reverb and one said delay.
It's both. There's actually 3 guitars going for the intro and to get it to sound right you really need at least 2 of them. The one guitar is playing what I'm playing and then there's a 2nd guitar that just drones on those accented notes with some little bends to get that whirly effect. The 3rd guitar is doing that whammy thing in the background. I did record audio for all 3 parts since I couldn't get it to sound right by doing just one. It's also really crucial to get your delay just right and have it fall in the right places otherwise it'll sound like crap lol.
@@MysticGuitar77 Yup totally agree.. I just use delay because it sounded closest to it. And im having trouble dialing it in. Thanks for replying so fast!
@@imsorryurbad No problem! It takes awhile to dial it in right. It took me a good 20 minutes of tweaking my delay settings to get it to sound close enough.
