Mat EVO7 Hi, the corner has a double apexes. I usually take the first apex very close (touching) to the kerb. Hence an early turn in. Then try to keep close to the 2nd apex although you would run wide. But that’s ok because the next corner is a slow left turn. Just watch out for people trying to overtake from behind.
Mat EVO7 Certainly late apex (2nd apex) is not the fastest way for a lap time. I have driven this track for hundreds of laps over 4-5 years in 125cc rotax senior and DD2. This video is not the fastest lap time because I did it just as a guide for others. The fastest time under the current layout and track limit is 54.8s for the 125 Senior, and 52.9s for the DD2.
Hi sir, do you think the rental 125cc can achieve lap time of 56s. I tried it today and only managed 1.03.8. It was weird on breaking, can you give some advice? Especially on the breaking from this straight? 1:05
The best time for the rental 125cc today is around 58s. But it all depends on the tyres because rental kart uses used tyres and not properly setup. Also depend on the track grip.
@@kart69 thank you Sir, I currently struggling at turns 2-5, I’m not sure if I should throttle all the way or accordingly as there’s not much grip there and there’s always the constant fear of spinning
Nice overtaking tactics at the end of video, getting ready on the outside to get traction before corner, but didn't have chance to speed up on the exit of the corner. Nice try Buddy! Still driving go karts?
