What an amazing adventure!!! To be able to not only see but also walk on a glacier is so cool. I bet that water was the best you’ve ever tasted. That fish ranching was cool to witness. It’s important to know where your food comes from. I can’t believe there’s all those carcasses at low tide! Crazy.
Wow, I have never seen that many fish in one place before. Sounds like an excellent learning opportunity for the kids. The glacier tour looked awesome!
Great footage you guys. Glad the sky cleared up. Gorgeous scenery. We went to the glacier in 2011. It was thirty dollars and they didn’t have guides. We have to go there again.
We lived in Palmer and never got close to the glacier. Maybe we will if we ever get back there. We never made it to Valdez. That salmon graveyard looks stinky. 😂
Love the glacier, just beautiful and the fishery was cool also. Y’all should consider Anderson Levelers, we gave up the yellow block things over a year ago. We just love how easy to use the Anderson’s are no matter what the terrain.
Loved this, thank you! Did they allow fishing at that place? I saw a sign that said no fishing within 300 feet of a certain spot, didn't know if that meant everything else was free game. Seems like a huge waste if they don't allow residents/visitors to fish the other areas!
We can tell y’all are certainly enjoying your time in Alaska. Wow what amazing family memories & so much learning experience’s for your kiddos!!🤗
Hatchery very interesting. Glacier very good info.
Awesome video. Thank you.

They ONLY allow with guides now. We are so thrilled to have gotten the discount. It was super neat
@@NoOrdinaryPath it was awesome. I love all the waterfalls in Valdez too. And you saw a bear. That was the best ❤️

You are correct! No fishing within three hundred feet but everything else is fair game!
Are you both working as travel nurses? Can you make a vlog about travel nursing with a husband and how to get contracts for both.
We could go sailing with you
hello. What company did you do the Matanuska Glacier hike with? Thank you
glacier-tours.com/ Have fun!
I thought climate change was destroying the glaciers...nope just tourists taking pieces a little at a time....lol
