Tell them king I’m from Maryland too!! The Eastern Shore. Grew up watching them take the crabs out the water! And picked the crab for the crab meat. If it don’t have old bay throw it away baby! Love it.

My family had a blue crab processing plant in FL for 20 years. Philip's used to send us 18 wheeler loads during the winter time so we can pick it for them. We catered to all the restaurants during the summer. Just a recommendation for a more budget friendly dip, use the claw meat for dips and crab cakes. The claw meat is a little cheaper and more flavorful/sweeter. If you still want to used lump meat, get the special. It's lump meat that's a little broken and not perfectly shaped. Since they are going to break up anyways when you fold it in.
As a Baltimorean of have to say no thank you special has more shells than meat. Once you go through it there isn't much meat. I'd add claw but never only use it. 😢😂
@@muminaharris81 lol. No way it has more shells than meat. 😂 If that's the case, which I highly doubt, it's the pickers and QC's fault not the actual type of meat. Or the store you're buying it from. The special meat is the body meat that's connected to the other legs. The Lump/Jumbo is from the swimmers. You're gonna have a shell piece or two no matter what but mostly? 😂 Stappppit!
