@@scattau41let’s go mclaurin, Lawrence, cousins, k Williams. I’m taking dj Moore over them. Love, woolen, heyward, smith, baker. Give me Jaylon over them. Oh yeah fkkk AAron.
Definitely one of the best videos I’ve watched personally. I feel like Jaylon has everything you need as corner and as a leader except for one thing and that’s experience. There’s only 2 ways one can gain experience and that’s through playing and through the OG’s and I feel like this video will be looked back upon as a real help for Jaylon and the Bears defense as a whole. So Sherm from someone who wasn’t the biggest fan, I can easily say that I am now and I appreciate you for what you did here. Blessings!
LOVE seeing these two chewing it up together, their beautiful smiles and sharing fatherhood conversation. I have ALWAYS loved hearing Sherm's perspective. In my mind, he was always the smartest guy on the field in any game. And to hear Sherm sharing how a championship team operates together, why it's necessary and how it looks? Priceless. Thank you for another great pod Richard!
That was cool as hell guys thanks. When a fan which is me and we watch you guys playing we / I never think of this and we can’t imagine and my goodness Jaylon thanks for opening up and not making it look like you already know everything it was an eye opening as well as showing us your are willing to share and adapt. VERY! Loved how Sherm was so specific w/JJ on reading routes, a winning culture and how they talked the same language. The Best teaching an upcoming winner and leader.
Thanks for sharing Jaylon and Sherman. I'm a huge Bears fans and it was great to listen to this and know the person that is Jaylon Johnson. And JJ, thanks for picking up the #1 Jersey. Now I just need to change the back.
16:12 most important part of the podcast right here. If we really want to be great this is what needs to happen I hope Jaylon takes this shit to heart and becomes a leader on this team
Fantastic interview!!!! There was so much wisdom given out. Sherm should be FIRST BALLOT! As a Bears fan, I love JJ’s openness to learn too. Glad they paid him! 🐻⬇️

@@matthewbrown3561 Yes, I always felt like Sherm was the smartest guy on the field in any game. Truly gifted in many ways and now sharing his gifts in such an open way to those coming up.
The last question about Sherms IQ is the Golden Question, and in my opinion what separated him. Playing WR and marrying that with studying and ball skills. FIRST BALLOT
I always respected sherm game it was great to see the two set down and share. I really enjoyed setting in and listen to them kicking it around. Chicago up BEAR DOWN 💯🐻🏈 Go BEARS 2024 FGB And not making top 100 was robbery

The fact Jaylon mentioned he doesn't necessarily have a good feel for what the offenses counters/patterns are is intriguing. Hes going to get better 👀 League in trouble.
10:30 Palms coverage Also known as 2-read coverage or alert check, palms coverage is based on reading the release of the number-two receiver. The route the slot receiver runs determines who picks up man coverage on whom. Some say that palms coverage is flexible and can be played in many different ways, depending on the opponents and players.
Love how sherm gave JJ the game on making the defense elite by putting in the work imagine if tyrique kyler brisker Tremaine tj get that work man potential to be very special 🐻⬇️ thank you Richard Sherman
Man Sherm awesome show!! JJ definitely should have been on that 100 list!! He probably is at least top 2 CB in the league!! I did subscribe an as a Bears fan from the Chi surely appreciated the knowledge you share to him and us!!! BEARDOWN ✌️ 💯 💪 👊!!!
Hey I'm a Bears fan listen to this Sherman you need to go and hang out at Bear's practice talk to these DB's we got some good ones but your knowledge would help so much hopefully what u told JJ took from you he'll push that knowledge to everybody else but man you should be a DB coach in the NFL if you still have that love for playing ball and that's something that you want to do if not totally get it enjoy retirement is good but I could totally see! It would it be awesome if somehow you can get to Bears training camp and practices just give some insight appreciate this video did awesome job claw up bear down!!!!!
Sherm would be AWESOME as a NFL coach, or anything else he desires to do. He's probably just have too much fun enjoying what he's doing now. We love having Sherm and family in Seattle.
They brought up Sweat , but they didnt bring up the actual progression that made for Jay personally. JJ got all his picks after he showed up. Not to say Jay doesnt deserve the accolades for his performance, but it helps to mention the added dimension that Sweat made.
People say the hardest/most skilled position in football is QB, but i lean more toward CB. Theres so much u have to factor in to play the CB position accordingly. The only time i think QB is the hardest position is when it involves QBs like Patrick Mahomes. Brady, ROdgers, Payton etc looked average when the OL broke down. But guys like PM, even when his OL breaks down, he's still able to keep his focus, while on the run, and make accurate throws; thats hard to do. The running/side arm throw that Caleb made to Kmet when Kmet caught that ball on the sideline would be a good example of what i mean
Jaylon and DJ not being on top 100 is a crime.
Name 10 players who didn’t deserve it then
