The Mahaparv of Bihar is here and I wanted to witness it since a very long time. So this time I just booked my tickets in advance and reached the infamous gun capital of Bihar, Munger. To experience Chhatt Puja like a local with native people of the land

I am from nepal and many people in my country do chhath puja with such dedication . I don't think most of india even know this festival like we Nepalese people do . We have holiday for dashain tihar and chhath . Lot's of love from nepal to Bihari people.

It really feels so blessed that your 11 photos of Bharat also contains one from Bihar. When people look Bharat as whole (specially in terms of visiting it), they forget about Bihar but You make us feel so glad. And coming to Bihar in Chhath Puja is a whole different vibe. There is something about your BGM, trust me I was moved to tears of emotions Raunaq. I was born and brought up in Darbhanga Bihar, but live in Bangalore currently for job. During the last decade I have been in different cities but made sure to reach home for Chhat no matter how. Sometimes with waitlisted tickets in train and sometimes paying the air fare equivalent to visiting Dubai :) . Majority of my fellow Bihari folks will also resonate with me in this. Trust me nothing matches the feeling of chhat. You were quite lucky to be part of this festival. Blessed you are ! Thanks again for covering this holy festival. I really love your simplicity and storytelling.

I am from Munger.. yes I’m late to watch your video .. living away from home since last 8 years. My honest comment - in starting of the video when u looked frustrated n u were saying “mai yha kyu aaya?” I was like sacchi kyu aya ye jb itna frustrated h toh? .. but then I watched till the end and really.. As far as I know , Munger has historical values as well . When Mir Qasim used to be the nawab of Bengal , he shifted his capital to Munger from Murshidabad after the deterioration of the relationship between british and himself. I have just read about the place only in history book . Amazing! Overwhelmed to know the mythological value and to see the authentic rituals...
Even it is know as karnbhumi there are many amazing places to visit like sitakund where hot water is there in winters and cold water in summers it is believed that this was built by Laxman for Ma sita ....

My father is from Bihar but I have been born and brought up in Jharkhand which still carries Bihar's essence so as far as remember we have always celebrated chaath in my hometown but this year I am in Delhi for my studies and could not go home. It was so heartbreaking but atleast I could see a glimpse of this holy festival through your video. Felt like I was back at home🥺💗
