There is a "Do not Distrub" option in TK flights, you can activate from the entertainment system if you dont want to be waken up during the flight. You could just have turned it on instead of shooting a footage about the problem.
The complaint wasn’t that they woke him up, but when and how they did it. It’s very valid to expect to be able to have breakfast with an hour or less left on the flight, that’s industry standard lol. Also not shooting footage about a problem? You do realize you were watching a review right😅
Flew economy on Turkish from Munich to Istanbul on a330 a couple months ago and the food was amazing. Seats were very spacious too with nice movie selection. Same 2,5 hours flight on Lufthansa would only get some pretzel and a beer and an uncomfortable seat likely without a screen.
@Milan Bejatovic They also fly to Heathrow and (sometimes) Berlin BER with the A330, seems that Turkish takes care about their paying costumers unlike most other european airlines.
You could use "do not disturb" option from entertainment center to not be waken up and demand your breakfast then. So your biggest disappointment #5 doesn't exist :)
As a flight attendant your "feedback" annoyed me. They probably can't dedicate you crew in your own area because each position has several other jobs, so to help them out other crew would've gone in their place/half the crew were sleeping cause it was their rest time. The cabin is usually hot because it keeps the passengers drowsy and encourages sleep - you could also tell the crew it's too hot and they would've put the AC down for you. Breakfast service has to be done 2 hours early because they have to serve special meals to all the passengers that ordered them first, they then have to start normal service and then clean this all up/collect in rubbish, eat themselves AND secure the cabin for landing, with only a few hours sleep! Breakfast is always hectic because there's so much to do in SO LITTLE time. Also you are completely unaware if something went wrong in the galley, like correct meals weren't loaded by ground staff, one of the ovens isn't working, short one crew member etc. Instead of being so egocentric, you should try and think of what all the crew have to do and have more understanding. Your comments are typical of somebody who has no clue of our job and how much we do for each and EVERY passenger. If you could experience one day in our shoes, I'm sure you would change what you would have said.
Honestly, you don't pay thousands of dollars for excuses. You pay thousands of dollars for that seat (most of all) for exceptional service. The amount of sleep for the attendants or crew is not his fault or his concern. His job is also to give honest reviews, not sugarcoat everything.
Hi, I flew with Turkish Airlines BRU - IST - DXB, The service was good! On the way back, one of the flight was cancelled so they rebooked me (for free) on a direct Emirates flight!
I always fly between jfk-ist so I didn’t see anything till today probably I won’t see any problem in my next flights, we love Turkish Airlines. And proud of them
45 minutes for a full breakfast onboard a LH flight for all customers is not nearly enough time. I doubt that any number of crew working on a plane could get it done nicely and without hussle. Cleaning the galleys and possibly the trolleys for for example return crew takes time. Such as sealing catering units for taxation reasons as well. The cabin also needs to be checked and safety items reviewed before landing. But 2,5 hrs is definitely too long!
