Got 15 pro max and Apple Watch ultra 2 yesterday. I phone free with trade in, 3 year contract with carrier. Good phone. The weightlessness is there. Sound is very good, a slight curve on the edges, metal, good one.

Nice video as always. Small correction to highlight... The calculation you explained about charge cycles is wrong. If the charging is done from 60 to 100 and then 40 to 100 still would count as 1 battery cycle count. You can check the same on other credible sources

Battery cycle mentioned is correct full charge full discharge yet even if you are not fully charging it after fully discharging it you will or you are in charging to or discharging to any percentage you will still loose a battery cycle. That’s how it works.

There are a lot of news about performance issues, heating issues and even defects… that’s circulating on online platform… I was really keen on getting the pro but now a little concerned about the overall device quality and considering to go for15 plus… thoughts?

go for the pro if you have the budget. It’s an upgrade to the 15 in every way. The durability issues are overblown. Its present mostly in pro max which cracked under bend test from jerry rig, but the regular pro survived. There is a video by gupta technology in which even the pro max didn’t break on bending. Heating issues maybe prevalent while heavy use, but apple is usually quick to fix them via software update. I would suggest waiting for 1 or 2 months and checking whether the issues have been resolved if you are worried.
