My grandmother is from Shreveport, Louisiana and she has beautiful dark brown glazed skin and her hair is silky fine. She has curl goals that I'm still trying to achieve. But anyways even with our dark melanin and fine hair we still always get asked ”what we're mixed with” 🙄
I think your friends cut the perfect amount off, I’ve watched so many big chop videos and on certain strands they don’t cut enough off and it irritates me and I’m just like “CUT THE REST OF THAT OFF” 😂😂😂

Me her have similar hair. Very thick in the middle looser curls around the crown. I have full edges too. And the longer my hair get the looser the curl gets so it’s going to get better girl and manageable

Sometimes stress can cause your hair to fall out more than usual. I would suggest sealing your ends with a leave in conditioner or oil, then twisting them to lock it all in
7:55 I can understand the double hair texture thing. I’ve had wavy hair my whole life but my mom and my sister had the curliest hair. And when I turned 14 or 15 it suddenly started growing curly and I mean like CURLY. So now I’m 17 so for the last 2 or 3 years I’ve had curly roots and straight wavy hair and I’m so anxious to cut the non curly parts of like it’s so hard styling my natural hair cuz it looks like a mess. And now the curls are almost to my shoulders so I’m bout to chop it soon and I can’t waitttt. Like I’ve wanted curly hair my whole life and by miracle I’m getting it, and naturally at that which not a lot of girls can say. Weird right? It just changed one day.

Her hair is not low porosity. It is medium porosity. If she had low porosity hair you would tell. My hair cant soak anything up at all. And it gets dry right after any type of moisture goes in.
I am so shocked my hair is way longer than I thought it was I thought it was 4 in what is actually a 6 and 1/2 in and I just put my hair in a bun for the first time the thing about it it looks so crisp because my hairline look nice

Same I have a loose curl pattern but my hair is thick just like hers so it hard to manage and hard to even see/define my curls. Plus I have low porosity hair so it's really a struggle to keep it moisturized.

My hair is just like that i feel her pain cuz ugggggh it just be so thick that its hard to manage and i havent had a perm in 2 years so my hair is finally natural again and even thicker😩 i dont even know how to straighten it anymore it doesnt stay and its really sensitive to moisture now, i definitely see how much the perm changed my hair, but i love seeing my curls i have 3b hair and the ends are slightly straight from the small amount of relaxed hair i have about 2 inches of relaxed hair left and this definitely motivated me to just cut the rest off 😊

28/03/20 she looks so happy 😭 I really want to continue with my transition. My last perm was in January and it’s taking a loooong time to grow. It’s very discouraging but I can’t wait to be 100% me. I want to be natural! I felt pretty with the straight hair but I just wasn’t happy. I liked how people complimented my hair but I couldnt look in the mirror and see a beautiful girl. It felt like I was seeing a different version of me. I can’t wait to be my true self, beautiful and the way God intended me to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I already love the small curls on my roots and I can’t wait for them to grow. My mom keeps telling me that she knows me and that I’m a quitter (she’s not wrong tho) but that’s also why I want to change. I want to prove myself that I can take risks and do what’s best for me in the long run. I’m tired of giving up! This is what I truly want. I can’t wait.

Again u have to cut that perm out it does nothing but prevent hair growth n damage our hair pay them ppl no mind natural beauty watch how long your hair grows in a year compared to relaxed hair that’s why they made relaxers to keep us buying them products breaking off our hair n keep us buying other ppl hair when our natural hair can grow waist length if we stop using them products
My hair is just like that i feel her pain cuz ugggggh it just be so thick that its hard to manage and i havent had a perm in 2 years so my hair is finally natural again and even thicker😩 i dont even know how to straighten it anymore it doesnt stay and its really sensitive to moisture now, i definitely see how much the perm changed my hair, but i love seeing my curls i have 3b hair and the ends are slightly straight from the small amount of relaxed hair i have about 2 inches of relaxed hair left and this definitely motivated me to just cut the rest off 😊

Her hair isn't dry in the final results. Wash n go's can take hours to dry. The white cast goes away when the hair is fully dry

Cierra's Hair Looks Nice And Black, I Like Jet Black Thick Looking Hair (Any Race), Although My Hair Thickness Makes My Hands Weary, I Know I'm Blessed, But The More It Grows The Thicker It Gets, Seems Like The Growth Isn't So Much In Length But Thickness, The Shrinkage Is A Bit Frustrating Yet Fun To Play With😂 Overall Just Like The Person Hair Has It's Own Unique And Individual Style For All Races, But There's Sum About Black Hair, My Hair That Makes The Hectic Worth It. NOW For That Or Similar Styles It's A Whole Lot Of Patience I Hope I'm Able To Have.
For Me, Twisting Them, Then 'Bantou Knots' Locally Know As "Pussy Bobby" Loosing Out And Separating My Hair Makes It Look Nice And Swirly. (Don't Forget Moisturizer&/Conditioner/Water).

she looks so happy 😭 I really want to continue with my transition. My last perm was in January and it’s taking a loooong time to grow. It’s very discouraging but I can’t wait to be 100% me. I want to be natural! I felt pretty with the straight hair but I just wasn’t happy. I liked how people complimented my hair but I couldnt look in the mirror and see a beautiful girl. It felt like I was seeing a different version of me. I can’t wait to be my true self, beautiful and the way God intended me to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I already love the small curls on my roots and I can’t wait for them to grow.
My mom keeps telling me that she knows me and that I’m a quitter (she’s not wrong tho) but that’s also why I want to change. I want to prove myself that I can take risks and do what’s best for me in the long run. I’m tired of giving up! This is what I truly want. I can’t wait.

Dats some tic hair. Do you ever plan to do a blow out straighten to length check and if so will you film it PLEASE??? Also try a twist out(with a deep side part-stule) with product will look cute and will adjust for thick hair.@tnt creations
