Just curious, if you don’t minding sharing it. How much profit did you make on the last Whatnot sale you did? I’m talking after all expenses, cost of goods, shipping, fees, supplies?

Easily lost* money if you’re simply just referring to the fact of cost per card to me, due to the fact that a lot of what I personally sold this week was stuff I opened product for when I had my ripping stage in collection, and paid probably $0.10 in bulk deals, having higher $ of cards and then supplies as well. Easily that cost of valuing method I sold at a loss of $.

If you as a customer would pay a penny per card how is it logical for customers to pay 50x - 100x that cost to you? Sounds like devaluing your own inventory

That part confuses me as well, but I think he is referring only to really common cards. There were also quite a few basketball as well, which seem to command lower prices than NFL. And if you watch the stream, it is often quite a bit less than $0.50 or $1 per card.

this was all (for the most part probably 95%+) super common cards that I wasn’t actually wanting to take the time to sell by 1-10 card lots or so, it had a ton of stuff I personally enjoyed and liked too, a TON of pj Washington jr rookie cards, Jalen green rookies, Evan Mobley, which I think if you wait or have the right market you could find someone interested in those at $1 per and there was easily at least 70+ of those rookies. But the thing that I was mainly referring to is that I sold probably close to a good $500+ in higher dollar cards in order, I sold a lot of my basketball and baseball cards which as someone said command lower and lower $ amounts for me personally. And I meant simply the super common cards which I personally probably even earned about that $0.01-$0.05 or so range for in the stream. The final auction I did was a full 800 count box FULL of cards with a Dalton Kincaid RPA /299 that sold for $28. Looking at the last 3 comps for a Kincaid Certified RPA were $35, $24.50 for a non numbered , and a $41 for a /349. I personally paid $35 for that card in a deal. I got $28 with someone using a coupon, and the fees and $44 shipping I had to spend was on that particular order. I’m personally guessing with the other 4 lots he purchased I might have been lucky to actually get $35 pack after fees, shipping prices, and coupons. That’s not even the price of the Kincaid AND the customer had 13 POUNDS of cards. That was simply all I was referring to, I easily have spent on main attraction cards for the stream and or valued them at easily the $760 I earned from the stream and then on top of that I sold easily 3,000+ cards but it’s the time it takes me to actually sell and package them up, the potential shipping costs that could easily make the stream negative in revenue, and the fact that when running these cards I brought down my revenue of other main attraction cards that i could have gotten that $ amount for.

The 70+ was simply in reference to my PJ Washington collection also. I easily had 200+ bigger name cards that can get $1, then I sold one touches during the streams as well, and I sold $500+ of higher than $7 and up cards. So just in terms of what I earned for bulk commons, I probably was lucky to earn a fair value of $0.01 or so myself when selling these off. And I’m a business; this was just stuff from my personal collection, and buys I’ve been doing previously at $0.10 and up! I easily spent upwards of $1,000+ myself just to acquire these cards.

Very much less than $0.50-$1 for this stream in particular and if you watch the stream I was selling $7 and up cards that were comping at those prices with many other cards, if you consider the $ amount I could receive if I sold those cards and the better and better random cards I easily was close to the lower single digit pennies per card
