My husband and I stayed at a hotel in Tanzania once where we heard a voice call out our name each individually. When I asked my husband if he called me while I was in the restroom, he said no that he hadn't said a word. Twice again I heard someone call my name while I was finishing up getting ready, and my husband continued to deny that it was him, and he stated that I was hearing things. Then it was his turn to shower and get ready for dinner. It wasn't long before he walked out while brushing his teeth and asked me if I had called him. We then performed a "mini DIY exorcism" and didn't have any other incidents. Later when asked, the front desk employees said that we weren't the only people who had experienced this in that room. I've never been a believer in hauntings, but that was very unsettling at the time.
Heck of a nostalgia trip to see Derek Fake-Corah once again 😅 Will say I still remember as a child waking up from hearing a woman screaming near me, which was odd since I was staying at my single dad's house in a super quiet little village at the time. A "psychic" claimed there was an older lady who used to watch over him between the house and the 19th century butcher shop/ cottage next door that he owned and worked in...
Didn't make this list, but I stayed at the Langham Hotel in London, which is rumoured to be haunted. Never experienced anything weird while there and I'd be in the basement office working until 2 a.m. so I dunno 😅
There are a few haunted hotels in Savannah Ga, but I will tell you the one I have the closest experience with, My parents owned a funeral home and I grew up in one, we used to own the keyhoe house and it used to be a funeral home from the 40's until the 70's when my parents moved our funeral home to another location in town. My parents would tell me stories of shadow figures lights that would turn on and off and footsteps all thoughout the house, and I have some vague memories of such things growing up. Also Savannah has the Marshall house which was a civil war hospital, the 1790 inn which has a lot of lore around it, and our newest award winning hotel the mansion hotel and restaurant which was a funeral home up until about 10 years ago, feel free to check these stories out yourselves they are all true, and come and experience them if you wish, Savannah loves sharing it's history, haunted or not with everyone
Only haunted places I’ve stayed at are the Queen Mary ship/hotel in long beach California and the waverly inn in Halifax , Nova Scotia. The Queen Mary’s swimming pool also has a ghost of a 6 year old boy who drowned in 1946
Spent the night of my 20th wedding anniversary at the Lizzie Borden B&B. We stayed in the John Morse room, which is the room Lizzie's stepmother was ax murdered in. Can say no strange occurrences and my wife and I slept like babies!
Why would you want to? I was stationed at a military clinic that had strong agreement among the staff that there was a ghost on the third deck. When the clinic had been a hospital the third deck was where the surgery and delivery ward were located, so that's where the greater number of deaths would have occurred. It had been decided by senior personnel that duty personnel would sleep overnight in a room on the third deck. I remember being in a morning meeting with the Commanding Officer during which he questioned why the duty officers refused to sleep in that room and were sleeping in their offices instead. I told him it was because of the ghost. He was flabbergasted. He didn't believe that there was a ghost OR that anyone would believe that there was one. I told him it didn't really matter whether there was a ghost if everyone believed that there was one, and that if he wanted people to sleep in a duty room he needed to move it.... 👻👻👻 (I was just a Chief who also stood watch as Chief of the day, but ... seriously- common sense. This was a long-standing belief that I remember hearing for years. It wasn't something these kids were making up. Fear isn't rational.) Edit to correct items from speech to text.

I went to the whaley house in San Diego heard it was haunted and it was on most terrifying places in America but nothing happened they do tours every 30 minutes I believe and you could do private ones at night but it was years ago
I'd be asking for a discount if my room was haunted. I'd be telling the ghost they better contribute monetarily b/c I paid for one not two. It's stupid but IDC
People who visit a haunted house experience supernatural phenomena? You don't say? I guess people who go searching for Bigfoot hear strange animal sounds in the middle of night.

What’s a diy mini exorcism involve?
@@thegmanviews11 we prayed 🙏
That would creep me out.
I would bet the price for a room in some of these places is the scariest part of staying there. 💵🛌👻
Probably so
Lol yeah probably
I feel that with deeper research you could find a haunted place in the area for less price

Last I knew, you could stay overnights at the Villisca Axe Murder house in Villsca, Iowa. Stayed there a few years ago. Interesting place.
How was it? I’d be terrified just knowing the events that took place there.
No thank you maam.

I think Castle Leslie & the Stanley Hotel and the Ruthin Castle Hotel & Spa should have made the list
Stanley Hotel is number one....
I stayed at the Lizzie Borden house and it definitely is haunted. We have a lot of photos of orbs and ecto streams.
I would stay in some of these places because I would be more excited than scared
Elizabeth Montgomery played lizzie borden...
I THOUGHT I recognized "Samantha Stevens" in that clip....
I saw that movie. The movie hinted at an incestuous relationship between Lizzie and her dad.

My husband and I live 31 minutes from the Antietam Creek Campsite. I have to wonder if we drove past it when we went out to run an errand one night.
HAUNTED HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about Borgvattnet in Sweden? It's said to be one of the most haunted houses in the world.
I would not spend even a second at a haunted area let alone a night.
I know a Haunted House in Wales🏴!
Happy Halloween
