I don't know if you guys seen an apex set up before but I got one set up in 2016 for the first time. I'm working on it again right now and should be done within the next week. The footage I have on my video isn't the best footage. my gopro sucked ass and died on a fully charged battery in less than ten minutes. I'll make more videos later on. the name is "Kotzebue Apex water skipping team Cherish" is y'all want to check it out. I'm new to water skipping but I ride hard all winter long.
Looks good, although sinking a 4stroke is not a good idea I think? Try to get skis more up in the air with suspension setup. It will be much easier to ride then.
Joulupunkk1 yes the skis were pointing down and not set the way they should have been. I payed for that haha and it is a pain to sink a four stroke. I have a question for you, where or how do you get shorter a arms? Do you customize some yourself, or have a manufacturer make them for you? It's cool to watch your videos and that is the type of fun I crave for.
Those are welded from stock arms. Just cut short and weld together. Our front ends are just like in skidoo tundra (no upper arm at all). If you need some reference how to make those. Anyway, I dont think you should first start cutting front end, focus on initial setup and then move on :)
Joulupunkk1 Ok that you for the advise. I do have an extra set of arm I can cut shorter but I will focus on set up first. Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
Hi!
What kind of tracks and track lengths are you running on the revs?
And what sort of mods has been done to the rear suspension? :)
144-159" 1.5" lug. Suspension is completely done for water, it can not be ridden much elsewhere
Love this video
I like this video by the way. 👍
