I have read your caption and...i am like a babe. A babe being brought to the mother's breast to be feed and strengthened. Feed and strengthened by the wisdom and insight of your words.
I, at times, question how deeply devout i am. I have gained wisdom from Allah (SWT) through prayer, meditation, reading, and contemplation. However, my closeness to The Divine One is...🤔💭... is.... is somewhat a mystery to me, at times. I believe this is the best way i can express this thought.
I know that I AM (we are) one with God, through God's creation of me...of us. By God's complete love we have been created into being. My wish is to be able to express that same love back to Allah (SWT) and others; but, I feel lost in my way at times.
I shall contemplate on the words of your caption. May the Light of the Devine be upon you and the soul of your father. I love you, truly. As-Salaamu Aliakum.

I know the Shahadah. Yet, I am having trouble understanding the dhzikr. What is being said and how? The rhythm of it.

It is the shahada being overlapped with different people saying it slightly out of sync. Similar to how the 8 point star in the video art breaks away into 16 points, and then merges back into 8. The voices overlap more in sync, and then slightly out of sync, and then in sync again. Hope that helps you to hear it better!
