i know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the account password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
@Cason Jimmy Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I would never have guessed German was his first language. He speaks English better than a lot of English people, especially these days. God bless Manuel.
Andrew Sachs was an amazing actor and played Manuel so well, I wrote to him once requesting an autograph and he sent back not just one autograph but about 3 signed pictures!!
For whatever reason, my wife and I also love the scene with the doctor when he says: "I'm a doctor and I want my sausages." Anytime we have sausage for our meals, it's uttered..silly, but that's life with TV..
As an interview this shows how it should be conducted. Interviewer is well researched and asks searching, leading questions and the interviewee is articulate and has considerable personal awareness and insight. As the put upon Manuel I don't think Andrew Sachs ever realised the love and esteem the British viewers held in him. The British love an underdog and it did not matter one ounce that the character was Spanish. He left us many years ago by Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross should still be ashamed for their actions. Viva Manuel!
Manuel started as a small part, but oh ,what Andrew did with this character was tremendous. Quite a few episodes highlighted his Manuel character. He was a very important part of this gem of a series!
I could never understand why Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand did what they did to Andrew Sachs. He was such a lovely kind man. R.I.P. Andrew & Manuel thank you for the laughs
Hands down THE funniest sitcom ever produced, and Andrew was a major part of that. Would have loved yo see him on stage in a play....Shakespeare for instance... I think he's a great actor...
"Hello! Hello! I speak English! I learned it from a book!" Oh, my favorite Manuel line ... Andrew Sachs was a gifted actor ... he MADE that show. Hands down ...
Thank you for sharing! Wonderful interview - with the exception of the silly, distracting camera work. Good lord, producers, please just keep the camera still and pointing at the one interviewed and no silly visual effects. It's an interview, not a creative camera work project. Oh well; beggars can't be choosers i guess.
Just started his autobiography, which starts off with him as a young boy in Germany and Hitler into power in 1933. Think it will be a very good read. Thanks for posting Reuben....do you know when this interview took place?
Thankyou for mentioning the autobio, we just ordered it. We had known very little about Mr. Sachs, or his career. Seems a very intelligent guy. Weren't even aware he had passed on. RIP
It was because of what Russell far king Brand and Jonathan far king Ross did to this dignified old gentleman that I cancelled my TV licence 12 years ago.
Andrew moved to England from Germany when he was eight. I am curious to know how much German he remembered. After 14 years in the US, I am more English than when I left !
Paraphrasing. Mrs Fawlty Mrs Fawlty, ees Mr Fawlty he fall off ladder, he go crazy he try to see girl. Manuel was part of the heart and soul of Fawlty Towers. RIP, you wonderful man.
He had a great voice. I remember his narration for the alternate UK version of Walking with Cavemen and it was great, even if I preferred the Robert Winston version.
What a nice, quietly spoken guy - terrific actor. RIP, much missed.

@Cason Jimmy it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
@Ralph Alaric happy to help :D
Yes, and what a silly interviewer....
I would never have guessed German was his first language. He speaks English better than a lot of English people, especially these days. God bless Manuel.
I speak English,I learn it from a book 🤣
Que?
Andrew Sachs was an amazing actor and played Manuel so well, I wrote to him once requesting an autograph and he sent back not just one autograph but about 3 signed pictures!!
Impossible to envision Fawlty Towers without Manuel. Such a wonderful actor.
Imagine not envision.
I hope Ross and Brand apologised profusely for their outrageous cruel abuse of this gentle decent person.
RIP Andrew Sachs he was great
It's a brilliant cast but Manuel is truly inspired.
Such a humble man, I immediately would like to hug him. His voice and presence is so calm, he is so polite
What a sweet and gentle man ❤️
For whatever reason, my wife and I also love the scene with the doctor when he says: "I'm a doctor and I want my sausages." Anytime we have sausage for our meals, it's uttered..silly, but that's life with TV..
Totally.
My favourite is when he ends up with the choice of eating the sausages in the kitchen alongside the dead body, and he says, 'I'll take the risk'.
I find myself always pronouncing sausages as "sasahess" like Manuel.

RIP Andrew, you gave us many moments of laughter for which we thank you.
Manuel started as a small part, but oh ,what Andrew did with this character was tremendous. Quite a few episodes highlighted his Manuel character. He was a very important part of this gem of a series!
Sachs' "Dragonfly" routine with Cleese was comic genius. Easily one of the funniest things I ever saw on television.
Manuel was just a delight to watch. Every moment was perfection.
Amazing actor and person, very much missed...RIP Andrew.
I could never understand why Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand did what they did to Andrew Sachs. He was such a lovely kind man. R.I.P. Andrew & Manuel thank you for the laughs
What a wonderful person! Jonathan shame on you to hurt this great man
Sachs must have been an amazing sport to be the butt of so many jokes ... he was brilliant. What a great show.
An amazing sport? It’s called acting. Dolph Lungren was a great sport getting beaten up at the end of Rock 4
"i know nothing. I am from Barcelona" 🤣
Que¿ 🤵🏻
Eventually.
What a joy to watch, big part of what made me smile growing up. Now my kids too. Thank you, may you RIP.
What a sweet man. He is greatly missed.
RIP Andrew Sachs 😔😭 AKA Manuel
A true gent and nice 👦 guy Rip ❤
He speaks English well. That book was good.
Hands down THE funniest sitcom ever produced, and Andrew was a major part of that.
Would have loved yo see him on stage in a play....Shakespeare for instance... I think he's a great actor...
I watched the show just because Manuel was in it. Brilliant acting. RIP.
How did you know to watch it?
The delivery of “I know nothing “ 😅
Thank you 😊 for sharing this with me. I remember when Andrew played Norris Cole’s brother on Corrie years later. Rest In Peace Andrew.
"Hello! Hello! I speak English! I learned it from a book!" Oh, my favorite Manuel line ... Andrew Sachs was a gifted actor ... he MADE that show. Hands down ...
RIP Andrew Sachs, you were absolutely the best.
Wanted to hear his “real voice” as Manuel was from Barcelona!
What a very nice man
RIP, you brought such joy to the world...
I LOVE YOU MANUEL👑💖
R.I.P...😭
Beautiful spirit, beautiful soul - Andrew Sachs. Died too soon.
This is a delight thank you Andrew Sachs
Thank you for sharing!

Spot on
He learned it from a book.
Just started his autobiography, which starts off with him as a young boy in Germany and Hitler into power in 1933. Think it will be a very good read.

James Henderson bet your fun at parties
Who in fuck reads "Manuel's" biography?
Is that the level to which your life has sunk?
An intelligent, classy individual.
enjoyed this interview very much! Thank you
What a lovely man Andrew was.
A real legend for sure ☺️
True gent .
Am I having a stroke or is one camera in black and white?!
He speaks terribly good english considering he's originally from Barcelona 🇪🇦😄.
What a sweet and great man 🙏
It was because of what Russell far king Brand and Jonathan far king Ross did to this dignified old gentleman that I cancelled my TV licence 12 years ago.
?
What do you want? cookie?
He was key to this show. Cleese said he was energized when he put the mustache on.
The voice of dozens of BBC nature documentaries. Back in the day, if it wasn't Attenborough, it was usually Sachs
Absolutely loved him!
What a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
Gentleman
Incredible role. Manuel is so good that I needed to check if he was a real person. :)
Andrew moved to England from Germany when he was eight. I am curious to know how much German he remembered. After 14 years in the US, I am more English than when I left !
This series have been run in Sweden every year since.
Loved how at 10 mins in the interview next question was going be “what’s john really like?”
"Surprise party. Sybil not here. That is surprise."
He was the second male lead in effect.
What a gentleman.
Wasn't the place actually called Watery Fowls, Fatty Owls or Farty Towels?
Called Flowery Twats actually
Yee, because with each episode, some little brat would remove one of the letters, lol! The original name is Fawlty Towers.
Also flay otters
Flowery twats ,actually !
Rest in peace Andrew, thanks for all the laughs.
How good is he as an actor? Was a few years after I discovered he was English, I actually thought he WAS Spanish. Asombroso 🇪🇸
Paraphrasing. Mrs Fawlty Mrs Fawlty, ees Mr Fawlty he fall off ladder, he go crazy he try to see girl. Manuel was part of the heart and soul of Fawlty Towers. RIP, you wonderful man.
And such a very funny part he played there
1:44 this confirms Franco's presence in the top overlooked 10 anime villains list
Why these totally unnecessary black and white shots? Very annoying!
Otherwise interesting!
He was such nice, inteligent man❤❤
Brilliant actor.
His father was resident compere on TV at the City varieties in Leeds
The picture to his left (actually his right) is crooked. It's frustrating that I can't reach through the screen and straighten it.
Ok, Monk😁
He had a great voice. I remember his narration for the alternate UK version of Walking with Cavemen and it was great, even if I preferred the Robert Winston version.
I speak English well. I learn it from a book.
Legend
First time i am hearing him talk as he does... so odd! Where is Emmanuel?
What an intelligent man.
Such a nice guy
"Que? Que?" :)
What a lovely man.
Amazing intelligent man!!!!
reminds me of my Grandad. May Allah be with them both
Wow they talk about last night episode. Do not even notice that Manuel is sitting there! Then you are a good actor.
“Bas -ill; Man - well!!!”
He would’ve been ideal as Parker in the live action Thunderbirds movie instead of Ron Cook 😎
Andrew Sachs, also known as Mauel, Rest In Pease
I recognise the interviewer anyone know who he is? It’s really bugging me 🙄
Classic 👏🏼
His voice sounds just like Anthony Hopkins to me.
poncho to cleese's quixote
@13:05 "...he told me to say."
I once visited Barcelona, I was hoping to see somebody like Manuel, even though I knew he was played by a British actor.
Did you do any research for the part?
How many actors aren't also waiters?
Why do all the good actors die, but a lot of bad ones hang around like a toenail fungal?
Everyone dies, eventually.
Is it not true that he was hit on the head with a real frying pan then? He doesn't bring it up here.
Just when you think the video makers didn't take the How to Ruin Your Videos Course, they actually did. (Switching to b&w, shaking camera)
No need to bitch, you're getting this footage for free.
@@miloesalazar just because its free means its ok if its poor quality ???
This actor spoke Spanish like a native
Who is the dishy interviewer?
This interview look from the mid-90s….
They dont make them like him anymore
'MANUELL!!!'
Manuel from Barcelona
