- Police have had a very busy few days escorting hundreds of delegates, from Heads of State to Business Leaders, to the Munich Security Conference. One pedestrian wasn't happy as he walks towards one motorcade, being told to move back by a police megaphone.
The Munich Police Department have had the assistance of multiple different police forces and law enforcement agencies during the conference held annually in the German city of Munich,

0:49 Poor man..thinking because the light is green for him, he is on his right to cross over a motorcade 😅
You can hear him complain „it’s red !!! Wtf !!“ 😹😹😹😹
@@sns4748No he said: "This is a motorcade. Please wait."
The pedestrian said „it‘s red“, the cop mentioned the motorcade. I can relate. If you live in Munich and they annoy you for days by moving people through the inner city who talk a lot bot do little…
He was wrong, though. Motorcade has the right of way, even with a red light.
In germany is a rule that a convoi like in the video as on vehicle drive
LOL I love the shot at 4:50 Munich had no building construction that day, all of the ladders were in use at the airport :)
We could probably build our own tower with all the kit we had!
The City of Munich should have blocked off the entire downtown core from the airport to the Conference Centre for ordinary traffic for the duration of the International Security Conference rather than have it mix with Presidential motorcades. Alternatively the venue for the International Security Conference should have been a more remote location in the Federal Republic of Germany other than downtown Munich itself. The way this was organized was chaotic to say the least. Thank you very much and enjoy your day 🇺🇦🇺🇸
why should they just so rich people can tell poor people how to live
@@murphychris9811 You mean Political Leaders & Diplomats? Regular rich people don't get this type of security.
shutting down the entire downtown city ring and all the way out to the airport for FOUR DAYS? What are you thinking? If airport staff wasn't on strike, there's basically only one way to get to the airport. Especially that section of highway 9 is one of the busiest in the entire state
Remote locations don't make this ANY easier ... we've seen it when the G7 summit took place in Elmau, G8 summit in Heiligendamm etc. Although those are villages and small towns, the next larger city is still affected by such an event.
"The way this was organized was chaotic to say the least." can't agree with that. They are well used to how they have to handle it, but of course it will be a bit chaotic when several hundred participants with dozens small and large motorcade go from the airport into the city, heading to different hotels and embassies and all head to the same location of the conference.
@@EnjoyFirefighting Well listen you are in Munchen so you may have a better handle on the situation on the ground. If you feel that the International Security Conference in Munich was the epitome of how matters have to be handled in downtown City traffic then wonderful. I recall the Cop International Climate Conference in Scotland in October of 2021, when a good part of Glasgow actually was sealed off for ordinary traffic so here you have a precedent. Thank you very much and enjoy your evening 🇺🇲🇩🇪🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦
@@fredsimchawang6327 yet in London they don’t seal anything off for the most part. Doing so is largely asking for trouble by impacting everyday people’s lives and commutes.
I guess he was late for a fun evening at his Club: Wankers United...
Germany's livery isnt looking to bad!
Nice blue stripes with some hi vis yellow too!
German police livery is the nicest in the world in my opinion. Clean, simple, efficient, and gets the point across and the job done. Much like the police officers themselves, minus the simple part because Germans are smart people.
@@joshuamccutcheon I do prefer our livery but ehh, Yours does look good.
@@staffsemergresp I’m from New Zealand and our police livery is nice looking too, like a mixture of British and Australian
When the president or the vice president visit here in Atlanta Georgia, they do a rolling roadblock up i-75/ 85 from hartsfield international airport to the meeting location, and do the same if The landing location for Air Force one or two is Dobbins Air reserve Base going southbound on 75/85. They will actually make a official public media announcement for traffic control reasons, so if you see all this activity on the road, and you get caught in it that's on you
Even the public transit authority announces on their website if any bus routes or train stations are affected by a presidential or vice presidential visit
this conference takes place on 3 days + days of arrival and departure. During these 5 to sometimes 6 days and numerous small to large VIP police escorts for hundreds (!) of participants it's just natural that you'll find yourself waiting for such a convoy somewhere in the city at some time
Just curious why some that van police tag was green?
The traditional color for police in Germany used to be green and green on white. To harmonize the color scheme in the European Union, police departments gradually started to switch to blue on silver in the early 2000s. Bavaria was late to the party and started switching only after 2016. So if you see green stripes on a police car in Germany, it's usually just an older vehicle.
not a good as the seg!
SEG is small and overrated
I've seen videos of the SEG struggle with handling road users around a single convoy already, but with 500 participants there were more than just a few dozen convoys around in Munich. Also most of those convoys just went with the flow of traffic, with no need to actually shut down any roads
Also zumindest Farben kann erkennen.
🐍 Cobra Emergency, keep up the great filming! Well done ❤
Appreciate the support across the channel BudstarX!
Nice one! Hope the trip is going well friend!
Dankeschón! Ja ist sehr gut. Thank you, is very good!
it was the very first time, that the mounted unit from Berlin was on scene down in Munich, so you have some very special clips with the horses around the airport!
I didn't even know that! That's pretty awesome and 'rare' to catch. Unfortunately I kept missing the horsebox vehicles going by, being towed by Land Rovers.
Great video 🐍👍👍👍keep up the good video coming 👍👍👍
Thank you! Will do!
Remember when Hilary Clinton was in Tromsø Norway, all days 2 helicopters kept flying non stop from morning to night over the city scanning for whatever with a large camera or something. It was the most annoying thing ever, if I had a stinger lol ;) Also while I was away one of the helicopters landed at the harbor where I was staying in my boat and a bunch of men with machine pistols jumped out running around doing whatever and then took off again...
2:55 does anyone know, to whom that car belongs?
probably to the Consulate of Armenia in Munich
was für ein Kevin
Why don’t they hold it at Munich airport hotel - simple
because that hotel downtown plays in an entirely different class, and many participants would stay at their country's embassy anyway
Another good quality video. 👍
Appreciate it
