That was back in 1994. An evening I`ll never forget in my live. I could see all my idols: Eddie & the Hotrods, The Inmates, Nine Below Zero, Wilko, Gypie, all live at the Dr. Feelgood Music bar. Lee would have been proud of it.
Wonderful…the backbone of the best Feelgoods lineup, hands-down, backing one of our finest, most soulful singers and brilliant frontmen. In his heyday, Bill was one of the best without a doubt. So, so sad that he’s no longer able to do it.
This is absolutely fabulous!!Bill is on blistering form here everything sounds perfect, Gypie's guitar work is awesome and the great rhythm section of Sparko and The Big Figure magnificent stuff 😀 ❤❤👏👏👏💯
@@erwinwerner1486I have only recently discovered the Inmates, and I think they are one of the tightest bands I have ever heard.Bill is probably the best singer and frontman ever. It's a joke he was not huge. What happened? Is he still around?
@@stevelaidlaw2676 Bill suffers from an illness that weakens him, he is still in a care home. In 81 he had to leave the band to rest after producer problems, he had been briefly replaced by Barrie Masters and then he took his place until 2006. He was able to take the microphone in any bar or were going to drink a beer. I think the video is one of those last concert with the band. I have a thought for him every day. Some great guitar playing from Gypie all the way through there, and the rest of the band are likewise firing on all cylinders! Big Fifure and Sparko are very underrated musicians in my opinion.
Man Sparko and Big Figure are such a solid rhythm section! Rock solid and a ton of feeling. Very impressive. Gypie was so good too. Wish this lineup could have toured. Whoever posted this thank you!

@@christinetanner4441 Thanks for replying Christine. I am sorry for your loss. Great you are keeping your late husbands channel going. Sad news about Bill, I never knew him to be in such poor health. @@stevelaidlaw2676 Yes, you're right, but Bill was sick unfortunately. Since then no one has replaced them... but rock n roll never dies!

Thanks...that was great.
Who idiot did give thumb down? Anyway, RIP Gypie! My favorite Dr Feelgood guitarist!
I loved Gypie's playing. Wilco was killer too of course but Gypie really brought a lot to the band. Sad he died so young.
Gypie's so good. So so good.... Bill's not bad either ;)

What is Bill Hurley doing nowadays?
