Review of the Hollis Katana 2 side mount BCD & transitioning to sidemount diving

This video reviews the Hollis Katana 2 side mount BCD and my transition to sidemount diving over the past 6 months.
I review my experience going from a backplate & wing, doing the TDI Sidemount training course, purchasing my BCD & trying all the different rigging configurations.
While I have no intentions of doing cave diving, the sidemount system seemed like it would be beneficial in hunting Southern Rock Lobsters, allowing me to get closer to them & it is better than I could have imagined.
Thanks to all my dive buddies who appear in this video & have helped me out on my journey. I still plan to use my backplate & wing setup as well, but during cray season the sidemount setup will be my preference.
The Hollis Katana 2 is extremely well made, the transition was effortless, I have no complaints about the BCD. I looked at the Dive Right BCDs also & they would have been fine also, but I do like the slightly larger size of the Katana 2 when using steel tanks.
