I find this song to be so intriguing and fascinating. It brings you in to this somewhat mysterious story , then the segway in to the instrumental composition is nothing short of miraculous! The selection of instruments and their sequence, well, it is the most captivating number I have heard in all my years as a musician. I would pay the price of a ticket for this one song alone!! Another great song by Al Stewart. I am in my sixties and I am still listening to his great songs.i love sitting on the porch early mornings and late evenings in the fall listening to this great tune.
