When I saw that you released a reaction to this song I was very happy) Simple Plan is one of my favorite pop punk bands. I like their early albums, I'm not sure if I like their latest album (2016) but these two new songs (and the Antidote) take me back to the 2000s. Pop punk is not dead. I can't wait to hear their new album after 6 years.
Did you listen Taking One for the Team or not? If you didn't listen to it, PLEASE do it. Guess it's my favorite one by far. Harder than it Looks, these latest one released this month is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING too. These two sounds like Still Not Getting Any
Hi, I'm from Ecuador and I'm a sp fan since 2006 :') I met them in person in 2012 and, I just can Say that besaids being talented they have a beautiful conection with their fans ❤️ I realy love this new song, admire the effort, work and love that they put into each song always :')
I love simple plan!!! their music makes me happy and reminds me of my teenager years when everything hurt but was actually the best time in life 😂👍 i just found your yt channel after a long time, i love your reactions and the way you feel music. 💜 good luck!!!! greetings from Argentina.
In the punk rock or “pop punk” bands in the early 2000’s there were definitely tiers, but it also had to do with who came when. Blink 182 & Green Day were huge, but they were around before Simple Plan. Simple Plan is definitely a top tier in terms of their era. Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, Sum 41 were the top tiers IMO. The second tier was All American Rejects, Bowling for Soup, Yellowcard, etc. SImple Plan also has been one of the most influential bands of that era that inspired a lot of the pop punk bands you see today.
I love me some Simple Plan, new and old. His voice is really unique and good. They have some really good songs both punker and some soft bangers too. #EmosNotDead
Omg an all time favorite band.. sooo underestimated a lot like good Charlotte and both have great songs and albums! I grew to love both bands from my dad!! So I would recommend welcome to my life or the antidote, and for good Charlotte 40oz dream, cars full of people, the anthem lol but all are amazing
EMO'S NOT DEAD HOLLY SHIT!!!! I cannot believe I didn't see these reactions sooner. I'm so proud of being a 17 almost 18 years fan. THEY ROCK!!! I did grow up with them!!!! Listeb to them makes me remind of easier times and my childish and teenage problems... They were so hard those times, but I miss them lol 💛
For me, Simple Plan sounds like a reincarnation of the late 70s / early 80s radio friendly rock bands. They have a more rounded sound that differentiates them from other bands of their time. If you want to listen to a very Canadian (lyrics in English and French) song of this band, "Jet Lag" featuring Marie Mai: ua-cam.com/video/HxtfFoFwrmA/v-deo.html
I'm so happy they are back along with Avril my inner teenager is screaming lol you definitely should react to more songs by them and Sum 41 they are worth it I promise. 💖🤘
Oh, and I dont know if you know that Deryck (and Sum 41, in fact) and Simple Plan have some issues in the past. They almost punched ones each others because David - ex bassist in SP - and Deryck argued once for an idiot reason but that was enough to make the guys in Sum 41 do some bad comments in interviews about SP (of course the media used to promote this insanity). Some day, SP guys said they would break their tooth 🤣🤣🤣 I'm so relieved they're okay now, cause they were, uh, kids that time and ya know, my fav bands in this genre. That was so hard not to choose a side lol Deryck and Pierre are my teenage crushs. 💛
I made a tier list for Simple Plan, since you asked, but I don't know how my opinions match the general Simple Plan fan consensus: ua-cam.com/video/aHfJBoD-oaE/v-deo.html
As a big Simple Plan fan I like the song, but it seems too generic to me. I still really like the song, but I think they've definitely settled as a band that knows that most of their fans just like the generic stuff. I wish they would experiment more with different sounds.
Simple Plan has always been extremely underrated, but definitely one of the biggest influences in the genre

Back in 2011, I actually got to meet Simple Plan in person and have some pics and autographs. They're definitely one of my favorites!
Simple Plan was one of my favorite bands when I first got into music in my early teens. I still love going back to their stuff years later.

Simple Plan ft Natasha Bedingfield - Jet Lag is a great song that you should check out
I wish Deryck's part was longer but the song is really good overall
