Wow - so much solid teaching, insight and learning put into 13 minutes! I wish, when I studied A Level Economics (decades ago) by teachers were so highly skilled in teaching involved topics as happens routinely on this video. Another great presentation. Thanks for posting.

If you do badly in paper 1, is it still possible to get an A* if you do really well in the next two papers?
@@LindaAndrews-ly1qf not really no, A* u need 83% in all 3 papers according to last yrs grade boundaries. and how do you know u did bad?
@@JosephPremium-fz9ep that’s not true. According to the AQA grade boundaries you need 182/240 which is 76% in each paper.
@@JosephPremium-fz9ep what exam board do you do, I do AQA?

someone explain to me the mini budget pls i dont get it
when truss was pm, she and the then chancellor of exchequer created a plan to decrease taxes - specifically income taxes. she also made a plan to increase government spending on different projects. the problem is, this would require a whole lot of money that the government did not have. so, foreign speculators saw these promises being made and basically said « fuck that!! » and all decided to sell their bonds and their pounds in order to invest it elsewhere, because they knew if this mini-budget went ahead, the uk government would have to go into major debt to finance it. this made the value of the pound fall dramatically, as no one trusted it to remain stable under truss and her very bold financial decisions. the mini-budget never actually came into effect, as far as i’m aware. truss had stepped down before it could really happen. sorry this is late, i know you’ve already done op1 and 2 now haha
I thought tax bands were frozen until April 2028 not 2029?
