I won't lie.. I still feel it's a good game but now that's the hype has died out a bit and I have played sea of thieves and do feel it's mostly an average game.. but it still has a lot of potential.... and I don't compare it to sea of thieves because they are different games... but it did make me miss getting off the helm and just walking around your ship.. doing some island hopping.. I personally have stopped playing because I got all the cosmetics and focusing on other games until season 2 comes out... All that being said as it is I would give it a 6/10 ( 7/10 for me because I love sailing ) I hope they keep working on it and perhaps make it live up to it's potential... I have over 300 hours put into it so it was totally worth my money including all the cosmetics I bought... for my main account AND my alt account
Surprisingly. I really like this game. As broken and lackluster as it currently is I still keep logging in. I wish a none woke dev would have got a hold of it but it’s is what it is. I do believe the devs are not going to support the game more than 1yr from now. If they are planning to support the game they really suck at creating community support and conversations. Hope they prove me wrong. This game could have been a big hit if they cared and had the experience to develop it.
Ubisoft is under contract by Singapore government for 5 years worth of content. I've not noticed anything broken in the game. Early on a few things that needed work but patches seem to have been effective. What have you noticed that's broken? Maybe we can help
@@Banishedsoulsofficial for one the map screen. Sometimes it lags in loading your location and other times it shows some remote island that’s not even a part of the game. I’ve been playing since launch (casually) and not till last weeks patch was I able to progress and finish the actual quest line for Rhamma. Also randomly get kicked still and sent back to Home Screen. Like I said I like this game. I just hate that they called this a “quadruple star game” and released it in this condition. This game should have been handled by experienced, industry leading persons instead of DEI inexperienced people who should not be running the launch of a “4 ⭐️ “ game. I know we were all pretty upset by them ditching the black flag experience originally and had some negative notions going into this game but they dropped then ball horribly on this one. They can still pick it up and score but they need to put the starters in the game and stop playing the 3rd string. Lastly the reason I say they will abandon this game after a year is because they are not creating a social media team to talk to us and have constant communication with the fans like all the other games do. Think about cod, Destiny, Helldivers2 and so many other games. They all have these open forums with fans like twitch stream chats and dedicated personalities that we as fans talk to socially to keep things going.
Yeah I think part of the contract agreement was to hire local programmers. Not sure of any games Singapore has been credited with in tge past so might help them to oull in some devs from other projects at the very least. Now that you mentioned it that map lag is a pita

These people aren’t the most experienced so we need to be vocal. Definitely not abusing them with put downs all the time but definitely need to let them know what we think. 🍻
Ppl shouldn't be able to join a lobby and join a helm wager that has already started. I lost 64k the other day in a 2 person lobby because out of nowhere 7 ppl showed up fast travel to me and took my shit. I was almost at my destination. They need 2fix that
People should be able to join whenever they want, and removing that ability would ruin the mode, like it ruined cutthroat. Cutthroat is basically a race now, with a start and a finish, where you're forced to use the Brigantine to have a chance to win and it's also unattractive to everyone. People need to be able to join late, use the map to guess where someone is going and use slower ships like the Sambuk to make an ambush, for example. It allows for more strategy and ship variety. Well a wager is just like that, high risk, high reward.
What happened is. You began a wager. The person in server then called fir back up to take the wager. We do this as well. It's honestly part of being a pirate.

Happened to me too, if you wait till lobby emptied out then do wager, what it does is "merge" with another lobby. Happened to me and I lost my stuff. Now I have a decent ship build and able to get away from 4 ppl and turning in 250k Po8
