In my 20s I worked for a company as a speaker repair tech. There was one other. A Nigerian dude. We worked together in a small sound proof room for several years. We had no interest in each other so there was no awkwardness to stop true conversations and interactions from happening. When u work with someone in an isolated setting for 8 hours of every day for years theres going to be disagreements. He's done the "I blame myself" thing to me more than once.
As a child I didn't get why so many adults say that If you say you don't blame me you blame yourself how is that an insult or attack on me? Weird nigerianism that I eventually started to participate in
@@shaeakins2670 yeah I get that now but as a kid it made no sense, that still puts responsibility on you, it's still you to blame and as a kid that's all that mattered, if it's your fault then I'm not culpable and so.... Not my issue As an adult I get it's more to say you really disppointed them or they should have expected such rubbish from you but I swear I still think admitting it's your fault frees me from any stress but I get it
I appreciate when my friends go in and out with their American then switch to their native dialect of whatever their country is. Especially my New YorRican friends who talk Spanglish to me. Then we got the JAmericans. Even funnier when they imitate their parents. Why I love New York so much. Like the food. So exciting! I love you Yvonne Orji. ❤
Saw the Shorts had to come here. I love you, the jokes,&love Naija movies, pidgin phrases etc. The jollof rice, pepe, I eat in my dreams..I wake up full🤣🥰
Were you aware that she starred as Molly in a very popular series called Insecure for several years as well? I can’t tell from your comment because most people discovered her from Insecure so you may or may not already know about it. Anyway, if you haven’t seen it I recommend you watch all five seasons.
This woman can dreeeeeesss 😍 I love her spirit and she veeeeery beautiful 😍 I love this for her‼️‼️‼️ and the fact her and Issa raye are homies makes it even better🎉😂 I wanna hang with them and have a session 😎💨
Her make up, hair and gold jacket makes her a queen goddess, it so unbelievable. 😍

@@silaspoliah5190 what she is wearing doesn't make her queen with or without it she is a QUEEN. She is the blue print.

Amazed at how you immediately switch at both accents without a mix up. You are a gem. 💝💝💝💝💝💝 Looking forward to meeting you in person someday.
I love her! Have watched this special and her first a dozen times.
She is 🔥!
It's interesting how Nigerian and African American moms are so similar
West Africans yes
It is kind of strange
At that point it ain't culture, it's in the genes
Bc black Americans ain’t lose all they culture like ppl say
I’m African and being married to Black American man made me realize that our families are not that much different from each other.
