For everyone that is wondering what type of waffle this is, it is a Gauffre de Liege recipe. This is a common food found in Belgium, named after the city of Liege and No we do not put all of that added stuff on our waffles. We enjoy them as they are with nuggets of pearl sized sugar that caramelizes on the outside as they bake in the waffle iron. Yes they are absolutely delicious! This recipe will always be a dough and not a batter and you need a true Belgian waffle iron to get the best results.

We all Korean knows very well that it is Begian style waffel. It was huge popular in 2010?, but now it’ less popular but more various versions with add-ons.
