海沿いの鉄道で、奇妙な現象が起こり始めていました。その踏切の目の前には、とてつもなく長蛇の行列ができていたのでした。興味津々なその踏切は、行列に並んでいる踏切たちに、なんの行列か聞きますが、誰も答えを教えてくれません。そこで、好奇心旺盛な踏切は、最後尾に並んで行列の真相を突きとめようとしました。。しかし、行列は、なかなか進まず、時間だけがすぎていきました。せっかちな踏切は、なんの行列なのか、早く知りたくなり、長蛇の行列の先頭を目指して走り出しました。ヘトヘトになりながらも、ようやく先頭にたどり着いた踏切の目に飛び込んできた驚きの光景とは・・・
