Put baskets on top of your closet cabinets. It will fill the space and also allow for storage options. You can put winter accessories, towels, blankets, sheets, etc. in baskets on top.

I have an idea for the top of your closet. So you can get like cloth storage bins from like target or walmart, and but random stuff in them as storage. That way its cheap, and cute, and you can't see the stuff, so it doesn't have to be organized :) Love you vids!!!

Changing a faucet is so easy! Above the shelves in the closet you could put a variety of decorative boxes or baskets that could store things but look nice. Vintage suitcases and hat boxes would be really cute.
Paint the wall above the closet cabinets a sadge green to match your towels ! It will make the cabinets pop and give it a Bridgerton affect.

hey kennadee! i have a cheap idea for the empty space above your closet! you can go to target and find some pretty baskets or pretty bins and put them on top of there for more storage but also a lot cheaper than the cabinets!❤
16:54 you could build a tiny secret room, I mean it’s gonna be kind of small but it could be for ace when he gets a bit older, or you can put more storage

Get oversized photos for your closet. You can always add cabinets down the road, when you need more storage.
OMG your house is so beautiful! I love how you put your own style and touches into the house to make it look more homey and luxurious! I think for the empty space on top of the storage in your closet you should put some wicker baskets and maybe put like winter gear/ scarfs/ gloves/ hats/ extra stuff for Ace, I think it would fill the space nicely and keep your stuff organized without it looking messy or cluttered! Also I think it would be great to put a circle rug that has the same kind of design as the one in your bathroom and maybe put like a little sitting bench or chair on the rug so you have a space to sit!

Definitely don’t worry about replacing the toilet seat and the faucets! I’m an 18 yr old girl who loves home diy stuff and even I can do it. For the toilet there’s a screw underneath that just comes off after you take the caps off from the top. The faucets are easy too you just go underneath and turn off the water, unscrew everything and it comes off! Everything looks great so far :)
And I love that you see deer in your backyard! When you start that project be sure to research plants that deer do not like to eat. ❤
For the empty space up down the shelf, you could use some baskets up there to put stuff in
Toilet seats are very easy to replace. The closet is amazing, what a difference! Cute baskets or bins would be cute on the top of your closet.

Your toilet has a round seat cover instead of an elongated one that it should have . Easy to replace and install .

On the top part of your closet you can put like a large shalf on all the space so you can storage stuff like some baby Ace's memories or wathever.

Spread what you DO have out a little more before you try filling/cramming more into the space. Someone else said move your hats up. That's a good idea. You could use it as a way to both store/preserve your hats (keep their shape) and as a decorative inspiration. Maybe you both want cowboy hats... When in Texas.... to add a little country to your decor... 🤠
for the hats, you can put hooks on the wall and hang them on the hooks, I have something similar in my house and we hung some rope and at the end there was a small hook attached to hold the hats on!
Toilet seats are really easy to replace. There are plastic screws at the back of the seat. Before you buy a neat seat, literally get a big piece of paper and trace the shape of the toilet so you have a paper pattern which you can take with you when you’re shopping fir a new seat - to make sure it fits

Beautiful!!!! In your closet you could maybe put a bunch of cute baskets up on top! And there you could keep extra things, anything really! It’s such a wonderful space and baskets of any size and style for storage could be very inexpensive! U could even add some faux greenery/flowers up top as well! My mom decorated the top of all our kitchen cabinets with loads of faux greenery and cozy décor elements! But storage baskets I think in closet would be the best use of the space! CONGRATS LOVE! ❤

17:10 for your closet you could always add the stage type of lights or get the type of shelves/hangers that you could store purses your hats and extras in an organized way and just have a step ladder stay in your closet!

For your rug we had the same problem in the family room so you need the thick double sided tape home this helps💕
Looks so pretty. Great job!! Maybe if there is room, add a small cabinet in the center of your closet. That way you can place some more of your stuff inside and maybe your stuff you’re getting together. Also, maybe an extendable bar that you can plan your outfit’s for trips and such.
Chases’ extra area could be for his work scrubs and such.

Definitely change your bathroom facets before Ace is old enough to use them. I have the same problem, my young grandkids have left the water dripping and it flooded my bathroom more than once, in the process of changing mine now🥴 I think some pretty decorative baskets on top of the closet would look nice, and could be used for more storage. I live in Texas, you will need those coats especially in Dec, Jan, and Feb!

Hey kass!!! An idea for the empty space in the top of your closet is you could maybe make some memory boxes and you could also make memory boxes for baby aces too!! And to make it not like empty You could add a little plant up there next to the boxes! Another idea, is that you can add like some pictures up there (not hanged or hanged your choice 💗) but you chase and baby ace could all make some paintings or put your finger prints on the painting and then you could just have it up there next to your memory boxes and plants! And you could add some other things up there like clothes that are for a theme that you don’t normally go to so you have more space (like dresses you could make a box saying like “Dresses for ____”So, that you can walk into a closet with a bunch of memories and joy!!❤This is what I do in my closet at the top to not make it empty💗💗💗

Don't put a rug in the closet. You won't be able to open the door and the cupboard doors. I also have a Black canopy bed which I got in 2002. It is currently in storage but I love it so much. My friend made me a lovely white canopy to go on top. I call it my princess bed. So fun. Your house is looking like a lovely home. Well done, hard work pays off xx

@KennaDee Kay The rug wrinkle would drive me bonkers. Super ghetto but what I did to fix mine was use a car jack to jack up the bed just enough to slide the rug around to fix it I have an Ikea bed that's steel framed also and to heavy for me to lift while straightening the rug.
The camera work is so helper skelter zooming in and out and up and down. I want to see details and it’s tough. The house is looking great!
Put ice cubes on the rug let them melt a bit and then flatten it. I don’t know why it works but it does x
For the empty space in your closet you can add hucks to display your hats and you can iron your rug
