- Sky News host Andrew Bolt says he is “wary” of Senator Fatima Payman’s decisions to defect from Labor.
“I am wary about Payman’s decisions for several reasons, and not I am not sure I believe at all some things she said in her press conference today,” he said.
“Explaining why she could not follow Labor’s rules, had to leave.”
An absolute waste of space, her $211k pa salary should be stripped from her and paid to people that need assistance here .
Better still........ lets see how much of her salary she is willing to give to the people of Palestine and relieve battling Australians of the burden of having tens of millions of their taxes donated by this labor govt.

This was the woman who got about 1600 votes and now will get over a 1.3 million dollars for her 6 year tenure. What a joke. It's a shameful indictment that someone who was third on the Labor senate ticket who got 1600 odd first votes is now in a position to wield influence on a future minority government, subverting the will of the majority. Quite frankly, I'm sure that the voters of Western Australia, whose interests she is supposed to represent, have the middle east conflict front and center in their minds. If the LNP and Labor had any brains (which I sometimes doubt), they would seek a quid pro quo on preference trading - Labor to give their preferences to the LNP in Teal held seats and LNP to give their preferences to Labor in Western Sydney seats. That's the way you get rid of the horse trading on personal issues that comes with independents in our parliament.
