Not training is silly IMHO, like you said, in so many other professions and sports you MUST train.

Hi Nicholas, sorry to bother you. I wanted to ask why the lot size was 94.64 lots? it seems a bit to big a lot size for 1.2% of your account being exposed. Could you please elaborate and explain explain why. Thank you.

Hello, I trade equities. Anyone here know about a trading replay system to practice swing trading? Most platforms I've found just do day trading.
    Thanks in advance!

I am new to trading, though been heavily on the development route you have outlined in this video for the last 2 months (draining YT, books courses etc, simulated trading and demo accounts to date). I have actually been using Forex Tester for doing my best to train myself during much of this time. What a fantastic tool and so much better than say replay mode in TV. That aside I just wanted to thank you for this video you have put together here. It is beautifully structured, articulately presented and showing a clarity of thought and consideration that i have been struggling to come across in the trading world. Just came across your channel yesterday and excited now to start going over the rest of you and your team's content.

Most insightful for me was the idea of targeted practice. I’ve been trading with a simulated account, just so i can trade whenever i am free and to skip ahead. However, i’ve been trading it like its real money. And so i’m trying to develop my skill in so many areas at once, it feels overwhelming and most of the time demotivating when i find that i will do something wrong every single trade. The satisfaction of getting it right is rare.
I don’t know why i never applied targeted learning to my trading practice before. Probably because that’s how my teacher taught me to. I can’t wait to start my targeted practice. Thanks for the detailed video with examples.

Good video I really enjoyed the length and the switch between theory and practical example. I learned a few things I can integrate in my backtesting, so definitely worth it. But I have some questions and points to highlight.
Are there entry and exit arrows because when you entered a trade on showing a practice session for moving the SL there were no arrows. Can this be customised or is it the default setting?
Is there a way to fixate the detachable object panel to the bar so I don’t have it on the chart and it’s integrated on the top?
Is there a way to close a position by % so for example close 30% of the full position or does it have to be put in lots?
Here are a few points I find are better compared to other simulators:
The opportunity to jump to past dates is really helpful and saves a lot of time and cognitive bandwidth if you want to analyse past trades and compare your analysis, or trade them in another way. Also for the first few modules where you gave the date point and we should find a significant level it would have been easier with this. I see a lot of potential uses for this and it definitely makes things easier.
The possibility to have every timeframe in one chart is superior compared to soft4x where you have to open a seperate chart for every timeframe. It also helps with the function of analysing multiple pairs at a time so you can practice the market selection and multi timeframe analysis better and have less charts open which reduces the visual stimuli.
Also the possibility to drag down the open position to the bottom so it looks like in the live market when you have an open position is more realistic and helps you to certainly prepare for the live market.
Im really looking forward to practice different scenarios once I have completed my data trades to have a solid base rate.
Now it would interest me what your suggestions where to improve the simulator platform?
    With kind regards
    Paul

Guys also remember that when backtesting you need to be careful not to overfit to the curve. This is when you over optimize your strategy on past data causing it to not perform when market conditions change in the future
