hello ,i saw your comment on a rutles clip...my name is stewart mcgough,,my dads cousin is Roger mcgough...but my story is better lol.i started a beatles copy band age12 in 1976 on bass,with twisted hands that didant even open (i always say the beatles saved my hands) now 4 generations of singer guitar playing song writers alive in my family now...nice sounding guitar,your singing needs some reverb (but yes you know that)... stu... subbed you x

Hi Stu! Thanks for subbing and for taking the time to comment! Huge Beatles (and Rutles! 😊) fan. You're spot-on about the vox needing reverb, unfortunately the record store had no PA or mic and the tour was already struggling to break even with hotel costs and petrol/parking costs to contend with, so we couldn't afford to hire one for what was going to be a free gig. So it is what it is. Not easy singing with no mic or P.A but she who dares, wins ✊🏻

@@Keeleysound ye was always the problem when i giged,,no PA ..my brother wierd a keyboard up to a board i made 23 switches,,when i giged i was a whole band,,even had a digitech vocalist so i could be 5 singers lol,,,,my best gig was supporting the rocky horror show uk tour 1983 age19 going on stage 1st as a solo act,with a gilloteen behind me lol...using there 10k pa rig i filled the hall,singing,like in the bath...next 1-2000 people all joined in,with the proper big stage and the lights ect, i felt i knew abit of what it felt like for the beatles...ynwa

​​@@minstrelofMirAh no worries 😊 I'm going to be making public in the coming days a very different version of this song - a full-band version filmed live in Manchester on our recent first UK tour (with a vocal PA and mic this time! 😊) Because it was in a proper venue, whereas this clip is from an in-store, filmed live in a record store x
