@@itoibo4208 They do for aerial targets and most terrestrial lidar processing automatically pick up the black and white targets without the need to manually pick them. Leica Register 360 would be one example. Would it make sense to make targets specifically with AprilTags? Not really, their use is so niche with the amount of terrestrial software packages that could really utilize them effectively. Maybe that will change one day and if it does I bet RS would look into adding them.
These RB prism and targets with washers were very useful for a couple scanning and surveying jobs done for Amazon. We were able to get a great control network set up. I wish these prisms would rotate and click in more positions for the prism to face the instrument better. But overall the prisms were great.
Looks like a less expensive alternative to the ATS system which has been around for many years. Some interesting ideas there though with the electrical plug outlets etc...

I wish it had the 3D scan data in there too because I've been arguing forever that BW are trash unless they're on tilts, and the tilts chew up your field capture time if you are doing high volume work. That's fantastic! Remember they are nodal though, so accuracy wont be significantly affected by minor mis-pointing.
