Here is an amazing part of design history for colt modern handguns. The restoration of the colt Model 1903 pocket hammer. The Colt pocket hammer was modeled after the Colt sight safety and Colt 1902 Sporting and military models. This model has no slide stop or safety. This model was different from the 1911 in the fact that it had two barrel link pins rather than just the one. The 1903 also had a huge design flaw. The rectangle locking pin at the front of the slide could brake sending the slide right into your face since the takedown of the slide was in reverse of the 1911. All in all the model had its drawbacks and maybe one positive. This pistol was ambidextrous due to no slide stop or external safety. Hope you enjoy the video and as always thanks for watching. Watching these always makes me want to go clean something
Ya that makes sense, thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Alright! alright I'll go clean my dorm
Those results were amazing. With a replacement barrel that pistol would be as good as the day it was made. Great video.
Thank you we appreciate it, ya a new barrel would be the finishing touch. Thanks for watching!
I personally appreciate the voice over explanation of what you’re doing and why. Thank you for sharing and the video, not to mention saving another handgun.
Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate you and thanks for watching!
@@TheKinzlerBros I respectfully disagree. While I appreciate the knowledge transfer, I use these videos to wind down before going to sleep, dialogue doesn't help with that. Your videos though, do what you like.
I just turn the volumn down on these type of videos when I'm using them to unwind and relax. For me its not the talking but the hammering and such that make it hard to relax.
Seriously thank you for restoring these beauties
It's our pleasure, thank you for watching!
The guns look better and better with each restoration! Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you very much, will do!
Delighted to see another Kinzler Broseley video dropped this morning 👍

Absolutely, thank you for the kind words we appreciate you! Thanks for watching.
Really nice to see someone correctly restoring these. Great work
Ya there are a few hacks out there. Thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Correctly restoring them maybe. But they are intentionally rusting these firearms, and then putting up this Farce like they're saving them 😣
@@TheKinzlerBrosjust don't understand why y'all intentionally Rusty things and then act like you're restoring them you're using vinegar and saltwater... it's seriously just so dishonest
Very nice restore to a good classic.
Thank you, thanks for watching!
Mesmerizing videos. If you could make twenty of those a day, I would watch them all. Thanks for posting.

@@TheKinzlerBros - Thanks for every brass check and Excellence.
Always love a Sam Colt design.
Me too, thanks for watching!
Samuel Colt died in 1862, so even though this model is carrying his name, it was not designed by him, but by John Moses Browning.
But don't get me wrong. I think that this is one of the nicest looking designs of a handgun ever made, especially in the hammerless version. Maybe only put in the shadow by the Luger 08.
@@cowboybebop3994 Damnit, that's right. I r stoopid

the pistol used by the paratroopers as they defended themselves in the church OPERATION ANTHROPOID
Thanks for the info, didn't know that! Thanks for watching
Watching closely the movie, one sees that the actor living Jan Kubis' role used the Colt 1903 *Hammerless* pistol, not the one restored here.
Any Priest involved in that movie & the Altar Boys been touch?.
Fantastic, beautiful 😊
Thank you, thanks for watching!

Hi Brandon , Another superb piece of firearm restoration , more history saved , loved the rubber glove finger clicking , you are a true master , if it was an Olympic sport , you would be a gold medalist ! Thanks for posting , always enjoyed immensely .
You are so kind sir, thanks we appreciate your support Pete!
ah ,M Browning what can you say, nice rebuild of the 38super.
Right! Thanks for watching
The best
Thanks we appreciate it, thanks for watching!
A really good restoration as always, really liking the way the videos are improving 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks, we appreciate the feedback!
пистолет выглядит, как современный -- сказывается нежная любовь американцев к огнестрельному оружию карманной носки. Талант мистера Браунинга виден в продукции Colt весьма отчётливо.
Alot of his designs still stand today, thanks for watching we appreciate it!
You guys are incredible and your restorations are impeccable! You're masters at what you do, and I'm glad I tuned in to your show!
Thank you, you are too kind! Thanks for the support!
Another nice job

@@TheKinzlerBros Do you have any news group to point question? For example size of glass bead you use. best regards
Nice 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Awesome, as always! Funny, because I really don't like Guns. But for someone as clumsy as me, watching you work is like Magic. Really cool! 👍
Thank you very much for the kind words we appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Good work
Thanks
Didn't know there was a 1903. Really a great job. It turned out very well. Too bad about the rifling.
Ya they had a few trial and errors before they got to the 1911. Ya for sure. Thanks for watching
Perfect work, congratulations my friend. You gained a subscriber. Mother of strength too, thank you.
Thanks we appreciate the support, awesome! Thanks for watching
Great job! I'd be proud to own that old Colt. And compared to that first view of the barrel? Shot out out or not, you made it work. Some pilots in WWII would carry their own personal pistols. I can imagine some young pilot in WWI having that Colt from home with him in his jacket in case he needed to make a forced landing.
Thanks, we are! Ya it's crazy to think about what they did for this country! Thanks for watching
Love the videos. I like the restorations but watch mostly to see how to disassemble/reassemble the guns. Thanks
Thanks we are happy to hear it, ya that is the interesting part! Thanks for watching
This is such a cool channel. Digging the voice over. Not overdone, concise and on point.

Nice restoration work again. It’s impressive the way you save these firearms. And good aim with a smooth bore pistol……lol
Thanks we appreciate the kind words, ya it wasn't too bad. Thanks for watching
Nice
Thanks
Very fine work as usual Kinzleri! It looked like there was a quarter-cocked safety function on this fine piece when you worked the hammer during reassembly...yes? Or was it just me?
Carry on the awesome!
Thanks we appreciate it, ya you are correct! Thanks for watching!
Super restoration! Just curious...do you ever use cold bluing? Love your videos!!
Thanks, yes I do. I do it with smaller and certain parts. We used to cold blue the whole gun. Thanks we appreciate it!
