This is going to seem rude initially, but it will be positive. I typically choose to not watch ASMR videos where talking isn't happening, it's the voices I really like. That being said, clicking on this video has made me reevaluate my opinion on those types of videos because this is just as relaxing as any spoken video would be. Thank you. Okay, I was somewhat expecting a Customary Jen Betrayal™ where the mime does the unthinkable and speaks but this is amazingly done, like, 10/10, lovely.

So I've gushed about it a lot, but this is seriously one of my all time favorite ASMR videos. I love the invisible props, the motions, the calm feeling and the mime character is just super sweet!
I usually prefer audio triggers since I find they give the strongest tingles and I don’t have to look at the screen, but I just got captivated watching this mime performance. The subtle sound effects also hit that sweet spot where the audio mixing is just right.
I feel like I should feel some kind of way about this admit of a mime, which are inherently unsettling creatures, actually being some of the most calming stuff I’ve seen in a while

Never got the whole "clowns are scary" thing. For my money it's the mimes you gotta watch out for. The make-up and outfit is just as unsettling and you never hear them coming.. Thanks for the unintentional scary video, my Halloween was disappointing at best and this is helping to compensate✌️
People find clowns scary at a young age because the make up tends to be a big smile But kids get that "something is not right, that smile isn't genuine" feeling, kind of like the uncanny valley feeling And because they are kids they struggle to understand the feeling and are scared of it. Hopefully I did a good job at explaining my theory

I met a girl who was very scared of clowns because the movie IT came on the TV when she was left unattended in a room as a young kid. While clowns aren't particularly scary to me, I can understand that the fear of them is predicated on their human adjacent quality.

Clowns already had the uncanny valley effect, but Pennywise from Stephen King’s it solidified the idea of killer clowns in people’s minds. It doesn’t help that the movie adaptation of his novel predates John Wayne Gacy’s clown costume murders by only a few years. And just 5 years ago, Halloween was especially terrifying because some hooligans were harassing people in creepy clown costumes.
