Do you have a list of tutorials for beginners? You know, I just bought one, but I play it backwards because I'm left-handed and there aren't many materials on the internet for guzheng tutorials that I know of. Can you recommend some for me, please?
We have a playlist to go through some fundamentals for playing guzheng. You can check it out here ua-cam.com/play/PL72sb35maFYUx6mtnkPaA2wcC5JtDy590.html I personally think being left handed is very beneficial for guzheng playing, because left hand techniques in guzheng is the soul of guzheng music. Most people don't have very fine control of pressing the strings using left hand, and being left handed can really be a very significant advantage for that. In guzheng playing, right hand plays the melody, and that's just the very basic portion of the music. The essentials of the music is on the left hand actually. So I don't think you need to play guzheng backwards. Even for right handed people, learning how to pluck the strings with right hand also starts at zero.
