Thank you so much for showing me how easy it is to change the blub. When I was reading the manual I thought it was so complicated and it isn't!!! Big thanks from California!!!!
Good afternoon, are you referring to the quartz tube? I assume you are and I wouldn't worry about the quartz tube personally. I have found it really doesn't make that big of a difference cleaning it. Instead I would just replace it every few years. Hope this helps!
Good afternoon, The CLEARRAY system is a water purification system that uses ultraviolet-C (UV-C) light to clean spa water. It's designed to eliminate or reduce waterborne pathogens like bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. The system can help reduce the amount of sanitizer you need to use and make it easier to maintain clean water. Hope this helps!
I have a 2006 sundance Marin 880 tub, i'm getting a 616 code . 2 years ago we had a different type of ozonator installed and this the first time we've seen this. how do we clear out the code??
Good evening, I would suggest doing the following below; 1)To reset your countdown timer hold the Jet 1 and cooler buttons for 3 seconds, you will see your filter cycle indicator come up. At this point press the warmer button until you see 0. 2)Once you see 0 press the Jet 1 button and your ClearRay countdown timer should reset. If the countdown timer was at 0 the Jet 1 button will reset it. If the countdown timer was not at 0 the Jet 1 button will not reset it. All of this info is also on page 32 of your owners manual. Hope this helps!
Good evening, Sundance does have both Ozone and ClearRay factory installed. The processes take place separately for efficiency reasons. The hot tub will read “blb” on the display when the bulb is out/failed. Hope this helps
Good morning, ClearRay bulbs are normally between $80-$100. The idea is that they mostly pay for themselves as a ClearRay system limits the growth of bacteria. Since there’s less bacteria is the hot tub you’ll use less sanitizer to keep it clean. Hope this helps!
@@atlantahottubcenter Thanks a ton for the input. I just put 50 percent down on a Sundance Aspen 2 hrs ago. 😁 Didn't get to wet test it, but hoping I'll love it!! 🤞 So it's going on my backyard walkout basement patio slab. It is of course slightly tilted away from the house for drainage. My question is- I hear you mention don't level the slab, level the tub?? So do I just use shims? Should I not worry that it's not perfectly level if it's close? ( my concern is width wise it is a pretty tight fit between the house, and some boulders that act as the retaining wall. So I'm not sure I would have room, once the tub is set, to even put in a shim......?? I've imagined maybe hot glueing some shims to the bottom or something like that while it is still hanging in the air from the crane.....) Thoughts??? Again sure appreciate the time you take on your videos and these messages. You should get a commission for my sale, cause it for sure helped me decide on Sundance!! Danny
@@dhandmg Good morning, thanks for the kind words! When we level a hot tub we rip wedges that go the entire length of the hot tubs base. We evenly space the wedges underneath the hot tub. You’ll need multiple wedges for an Aspen. You have to make sure the middle is supported. The dealership should take care of this for you as part of the purchase. If they don’t you can always hire a handy-man. They can use leverage to get the hot tub off the ground enough to slide the wedges in once the hot tubs in place. Hope this helps!
Furthermore, I’ve seen people use this platform in the link below and it works quite well but it does bring the hot tub off the ground a fair amount. Hope this helps! thespalevel-r.com

Brian I have an older year Sundance 880 Maxxus that a freind gave me. I know how to change the bulb can I reset the bulb time counter on mine or is there even a bulb time counter to reprogram ? I think mine is a 2008 or a 2012. Not sure on that where would I look to know. Plus the both the green and the red indicator lights are on but going to change it anyway because he couldn’t remember when he changed it. Can you help me on the year?
Good afternoon, so we normally suggest cleaning or replacing the quartz tube every 2 years. The quartz tube doesn't have anything to do with the bulb life. However, if it's dirty the system wouldn't be as effective since the bulb shines through the quartz tube. I would check it as you replace the bulb and clean it or replace it if necessary. Hope this helps!
@@atlantahottubcenter Hi Bryan. It would be greatly appreciated if you could make a video how to change UV-C lamp and also end valve on Hydropool hot tub. Sincerely Vlad

Good afternoon, happy to be the discovery! Thanks for watching!!
Any advice on how to disconnect the bulb from the power supply if it's jammed? I can't get it to budge even with a wrench.

How do we know if the bulb is OK or not? Also can we add an OZONE generator to this tub?

Just curious what is the average cost of one of these bulbs when I replace it myself?
