Made my first Safia trousers last week & really pleased with the fit & look & will definitely be making more. So comfortable & has more importantly it’s given me my confidence back in sewing. Also made three dresses for Project Dress a Girl24 due in September & cut out four more. You look great in the trousers.❤

Hello Helen. I haven’t watched your vlog before but was interested in your Safira trousers which are lovely.. I love this pattern and the fit so have made them three times now. I was just thinking of making the dungarees but now I’m tempted to make the trousers and a matching top as have some lovely soi fabric that was for their new jumpsuit but I’ve found the toile version very time consuming so could use it for this instead. Not surprised that you forgot to change out of your Safiya’s they are the most comfortable trousers ever, better than pyjamas! Going to my make my second pair in a black and white tiny polka dot, might follow your lead and make a matching top!
Your safiyas are fab...I've only ever made the jumpsuit version which I now no longer have as they went right up my butt lol....need to remake and add length to that area!! I like the fact they have a flat front waistband. Great beachwear set too. Ooh this secret stuff is very intriguing 😉 xx

Your Safiya trousers look wonderful and you’ve inspired me to get on and make some that I have cut out from last summer and didn’t get around to sewing up. Always love hearing you talk about Make @140. I’ve visited a couple of times when I’ve seen my parents who moor their boat in Plymouth. You may want to rethink your hem in the future. The iron-on hemming isn’t a permanent solution it was designed as a quick fix. Could you not have just turned up a second hem? Nice make honey 😍
Thank you, I didn’t want to make it any shorter as it was already shorter than the pattern, also I have used this tape as a hem on a T-shirt and after numerous times wearing and washing it’s still holding done so hopefully same here 😊👍🏻 Thanks for watching ❤️
