    About Entente - www.ententegoo...
    Entente Goods is an aggressive inline parts and accessories brand, founded by a small group of people passionate about street skating. They have over 25 years of experience when it comes to skating and more than 10 years working in the industry. The company is based in a vivid land of Bavaria.
    The goal of Entente is to deliver smartly designed, minimalist and functional frames, grindwheels and other accessories. If we were to make a parallel to Bavaria’s favourite drink, beer, their products are just like a good craft beer. The brand is releasing small batches of their goods, uses only highest quality materials, pays attention to smallest details, makes everything locally and cares about making all of it environmentally sustainable.
    Entente Goods is one of brands which clearly show that aggressive skating will be just fine and progressing as long as passionate people will stand behind it. It is worth to support companies like these and being full-blood skaters ourselves, we highly recommend their products!

    Going to 55-56mm or better yet bullet profiles would help get rid of the wheel bite of course. Those them wheels aren’t the best profile for a 58mm for flat. I hope round and bullet becomes more common and would love to see some 56-57mm bullet wheels show up, I’m on 59 bullets now. Seems like a little smaller and that would really help newbs to riding flat. My 55 mm eulogies I think get more wheel bite than my 59 bullets so a 56-57 would be crazy w bullet I think.

    The Entente seem like fast sliding, high performance frames that will wear slower from grinding. However, the harder, rigid plastic seems less durable as far as enduring hard shocks from landings and anything that would cause twisting and flex. Witzemann mentions in one of his videos that he had a catastrophic failure from a significant crack. Softer injection-molded plastics are slower, but they better endure the abuses of aggressive skating. ...and they're cheaper.

    Definitely the fluid V's over these, only simply because of price, these are way to expensive for what appears to be similar performance and maybe slightly better longevity.

      I’m with you 👍, glad people like these though.

    • @busyboxst7
      @busyboxst7 2 роки тому

      They’re expensive because they’re machined (have to be, some plastics you can’t do injection molding with). And they likely last ***drastically*** longer if even remotely similar to UHMW*. On a more practical note, are the fluid 5s taller? As measured from top of frame to center of axle nexuses that’s what determines ride height, not the bottom of the frame... Also, I’m not sure how much of it is the souls vs. frames but usd Carbon souls + fluid 3 was a very slow grinding setup for me (no surprise, everything under the powerslide umbrella is known to be not so fast). Many of these machined plastics are used in other applications specifically because they are more slippery and don’t wear out from constant abrasion as quickly as other plastics.
      *(diridari = POM, not UHMW, depending on which kind of POM, it might be synonymous with Delrin (brand name for homopolymer, there are also copolymer POM materials)...

    You and I are INCREDIBLY similar as far as skating goes, which is why I follow you and value your opinion. Roughly the same amount of time skating, roughly the same age and roughly the same skill level... I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on comparative pricing and skill level and just even getting a newcomer to understand, you DONT need a pair of 220 unless performance is something that matters.
    I can buy 4 pair of Fluid 5s for less than the price of the Ententes... that to me is SO much more worth it.

    • @iRollerboot
      @iRollerboot  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you for the comment halcyon. Very cool to hear.
      I couldn’t agree more. Part of the reason I skate all kinds of different skates fairly often, of all pricing ranges and ages, is to show that you don’t necessarily need the “holy grail setup” to progress and have fun.
      If people want to spend $220 for frames, then more power to them. Any money coming into the industry is welcome imo.
      But it’s Same reason I will probably never buy a Bugatti. I can have just as much fun in something a fraction of the price. Different strokes, I suppose.

    Looks like I'm going to have to sell some of my Jordans and order me some diri dari frames. Expensive yes, but look so nice. They look like a better fluid 5, like more quality materials. Killing it as always! Love the content lately 👌

    I was about to say I think I'd go Fluid V right when you said it lol. These look amazing and if money wasn't an issue it'd be these though. Were you skating the stock liner when you ended up liking the setup btw?

    • @iRollerboot

      Honestly I skated the intuitions and like them a lot. Swapped back to the stock liners and just seemed to keep some of the intuition magic and started liking them

      I think they’re solid, but definitely didn’t feel as natural as fluid4s or flt3s to me. But that’s probably just the anti rocker aspect of it.

    i mean...........surely it's "on-tont", as in, the french word for "accord".
    Anyways, great video as always. pretty sure i'd rather these (or symetrics) than kizer's hardware which i'm pretty sure is made of cheese.

  • @slim4699

    The thing I noticed between the diridari and fluid 5s is the thickness of frame walls. I ride 55mm, so with the fluid 5's I slip out if I cut to hard. I haven't had that issue with the diridari. Fluid 5s are probably best with 57s

      Do a few cess or get a dremel or take the frames off and do it on some concrete, just wear them down a little and they’ll stop catching.

      I never did skate the symmetrics. Maybe I’ll skate Sam’s and get a comparison. Fwiw - Sam is back on the 5050 prime and loving it.

    I guess that with wider soulplates wheelbite would be more pronounced...

    • @busyboxst7
      @busyboxst7 2 роки тому +1

      Yes. Bullet profile wheels or grinding the souls down to be less wide are 2 options. I’m doing both to some degree to my factions now (as the souls are way wider than I need but that’s cool - customizable. I also just like a more boot down angle because it slides more consistently than a wide soul with a deep frame groove does - even for anti rocker.
